Yes, they are saying father and son now. Earlier they were saying the 13 
year old driver was as yet unidentified.

Kids here in SC and other states used to drive school buses when they 
were 16, it was no different from being crossing guards or whatever, 
it was just something they did.  I guess the litigious society shut 
that down. Hell I drove a school bus load of drunks to the Indy 500 
when I was 17 (and got $20 and a free infield ticket for my 
efforts!).  That worked out OK, I even had to be assertive afterwards 
(the race actually got canceled due to a really bad crash on the 
first lap) when the drunks were misbehaving on the bus.  By that time 
I was flying airplanes for 2 years, so I did have a degree of 
responsibility.

spare tire that blew out before the collision. They were likely just 
driving too fast on a junk tire so it may not have mattered who was
