Re: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Changing grade for a single card
I would love exactly this feature. not sure if it could be done with a plugin or not, but I've misgraded cards many times and would love an undo. I know it doesn't cause any long term damage, but being a obsessive grader, it bugs me to know I've dirtied the data =) On Mon, May 23, 2011 at 12:21 PM, Scott Youngman syo...@gmail.com wrote: I agree that it would be counter-productive if a user could freely change the grade on any card in the database. +1 Oh yes, an Undo. Gets my vote. I've often accidentally misgraded cards and it just feels so wrong! Approved for 2.x, not for 2.0, I'm afraid... Peter Quoting Scott Youngman syo...@gmail.com: Undo is already an approved enhancement for 2.0. Yay! Re: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Changing grade for a single card
Hi, If you're really passionate about that word, you can always the card and create a new one with the same contents. Otherwise, I suggest you don't use grade 5 so often. You can also experiment with using both 'active' cards (English on the question side) and 'passive' cards (Japanese on the question side). Of course, once it's got a 5 it isn't going to be coming back round for a while so I would like to go into edit mode and mark it as unknown. Re: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Changing grade for a single card
I would add another card with different contents that approaches the information in a different way. For example, use a different image or font, paraphrase the question, etc. It both increases the repetition of the concept and forces you to remember it under different circumstances.
