This is not noir, but apparently, GHETTO FREAKS was originally released as 
'Love Commune' and while I have never seen a poster that shows the original 
title, I just listed a nice onesheet for re-titled version on my website:

it was decided to re-title the movie as Murder Is My Beat. Sounds 
more menacing. Arent there other examples, especially of noir 
films, that did this kind of title change, even tho posters had 
already been produced?

I've heard of the other cases, of course, but with Deadly is the Female/Gun
