You don't want it... One of them has a little problem with the keyboard... The spacebar does not function quite properly... And then again: I don't want to sell it... I was one of the first owners of a GFX9000... at that time many people/groups promissed to make games and other programs for it... Only a few demo's were released, but no good games... New hardware can't be sold if there is no software for it... There's still a lack of software for the GFX9000 so there aren't many people who buy a GFX9000... fewer buyers = lesser software... > If it really be that great the sale of GFX 9000 might increase which > will make it a better game platform. RE: "I have a dream.." bogus?
It`s very easy to solve, though... just replace the op-amp ic, it costs about 1$ each! Anyway.. punx will use some power-basic, thus the Turbo-R demand... If we eighter get rid of the power-basic code, or we use some other 9000 basic, it can be used on an msx2. >= Original Message From Albert Beevendorp <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> = >At 11:48 24-8-01 +0300, you wrote: > >> > > How many MSX users have Turbo-R + GFX 9000 + Moonsound ? >> > >> > Well ehrm... here's one with all this... >> >>Here's another one, and I know another else from Finland too (though >>his Moonsound has broken amplifier). > >Unfortunately, that's a common problem... "I have a dream.." bogus?
>Hm, this sounds interesting :) >Can you tell more details from this game? Yeah! A positive mail! I like it :) It`s a game called Punx, and for now it needs a Turbo-R with Gfx-9000, and to play soundeffects you`ll need a Moonsound. The game music will be on CD. You can check out some of the music on www.algorythms.com/punx. It`s an RPG, but we`ll try to make the fighting scenes more of the Streetfighter type. The main screen will be in 512x424 pixels, in 32k colors. The game MAY come with a simple network-interface to use multiplayer. Each machine can then have two players. The game will (if finished) get shitloads of patches and stuff for other hardware, music, tracks, gfx. The game is about kicking nazi ass, and I can`t find any machine or society that is less nationalistic than MSX, cuz every MSX`er in every country do what they can to keep the MSX alive! I recon MSX is an idealist machine ;) >There is new game development in Netherlands too, I have seen parts of it >and it looks astounding.
