[MLO] inbox and other views constantly show completed tasks
I am constantly trying to hide completed tasks. Each time I fix the filter to not show completed, the next time I go to that view the completed tasks appear again. How do I not drive myself crazy constantly hiding completed tasks? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group. Re: [MLO] How to create a clever shoppinglist for Android?
Hello, un-named person who is probably from Sweden. Could you provide a name? It doesn't have to be your real name, just something we can call you by. My shopping list is a great application for MLO, there are many features that make it easy. I understand that you want to add items easily to your shopping list, and you want to be able to display the list grouped by store, and that you will have a different context for each store. That makes a lot of sense. You are also asking something about text tags and flags, but I'm not really sure what you're trying to do or how you're trying to use these features. Let me just throw a few ideas out. You can make a contact that includes all of your stores. You can call it something like, stores. If each contact relating to an individual store is shown as being included in the grouping context stores, then you can view that includes the context stores and you'll get all of the individual store contacts with it. If you use the of you like active by context on the android, it will show you your purchases grouped by store. If a purchase has more than one story related context it will show in your list twice once under each store. That's probably the way you want it, right? If you enter new tasks by Android using the feature fortennis input to inbox with parsing, you can enter the contacts as you're entering the task, and it will add it in the right place of your active by context view. Folders are very valuable thing and you can do lots of stuff with them, but you don't need them to get the purchase into the right store, you can just enter the contacts. Also, be sure you don't miss the geolocation feature, also known as nearby. You can specify a location for each contact, and you can create a view that will show you purchases pending for a context whose location matches where you are. In other words when you get close to the store you can get an alarm that there's a pending purchase at a store that's near you. And as you enter the store you can look at your phone and see exactly the items you want to purchase. It's a great feature. If I'm telling you stuff you already know, I apologize. You probably have more questions, go ahead and send them in. -Dwîght On January 27, 2024 10:39:13 AM EST, 'Benny Karlson' via MyLifeOrganized wrote: > > >I´d like to have view with a shoppinglist for MLO-Android, that is easy to >use, quick inputs to of new tasks, and from multiple projects and areas. [MLO] How to create a clever shoppinglist for Android?
I´d like to have view with a shoppinglist for MLO-Android, that is easy to use, quick inputs to of new tasks, and from multiple projects and areas. It has to be sorted in a smart way by the different stores where to buy them in the list!? How to think to create this clever Shopping-list? One idéa: Since a folder can copy the automaticly to subtasks, I guess its clever to put new tasks inputs under folders with the included context, since either flag or Text will be copied to the new task under a folder. So were should the flags or text be of best use in a shopping list? If you like the list sorted by each store, (and mabye later also by department and the map function ) where each store has its own ! How do you sort it , if you want every task sorted under each store? See example where every store has its own context, like for example in the stores below <♧Jula> and <♧BAUHAUS> etc. [image: Inkopslista.png] With other words... How to sort a list by only the contexts you like? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group. [MLO] Is there any new way to sync branches between multiple profiles other than using WIndows command line?
Hi, I'm looking for an advice on how to collaborate with others on private-shared MLO TODOs. Some time back I had to set up sync between different profiles/.ml files (one personal, another - shared with others). That allowed me to have single "Active actions"/TODO list that combined tasks from both sets. I'm using MLO command line on WIndows to accomplish that. Nowadays - is there any way to sync multiple profiles without engaging Windows machine? Reasoning - we're primarily using mobile MLO app nowadays (primarily Android) so I'm wondering if I can avoid use of WIndows workstation. If it's not possible to do by just MLO.net infra and Android, I'm open to "workarounds" : 0) wait for the feature if it's planned :), or 1) involve Tasker or anythign similar (non-rooted), or 2) (in worst case) set up MLO Win app on linux (Wine, etc) so I can replace Windows with low-cost KVM VPS. Here I really need to know it's doable, so it's best on someones real-life experience. Thank you! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
