[MLO] In a team environment...

Hi all,

I'm a fairly new and infrequent user of MLO and am really quite impressed 
with what I've seen so far.

Sadly I'm unable to go into *too* much detail, but I am looking for a new 
task management system to help my team at work complete our workload. 
Currently the task lists are being run from Excel - ikr?!

Anyway, in short I'm looking to find out whether or not MLO would be 
suitable for a team environment. I am keen on MLO because, as mentioned, 
I'm impressed by what it offers. My idea is to use contexts as team members 
and combine all of our tasks into one file as, naturally, the status of one 
person's progress affects the next. We are a team of 11 or so and complete 
the same tasks on a monthly basis.

I've read on this forum in other posts that MLO is not designed yet for 
collaboration but a single person's task list. That said, it certainly is 
powerful enough to do. My concern is that the task list is to be shared 
using Cloud Sync as the best method of semi-collaboration; what happens if 
more than one person needs to update their task list at the same time? Does 
this pose any syncing threats in that it may mark tasks as incomplete when 
they actually are complete, or delete any new tasks added?

We're a fair way off of deciding which program to use at this point, though 
I'm hoping with the answers of this lovely forum I may be able to 
strengthen my case :)

[MLO] Re: Copying formatted Markdown in note

I don't think you are missing anything.
This is another reason I think that Markdown used for this purpose is a 
particularly bad idea.
Need to be able to format items in the note window like you would in MS 
Word or as you do in this Google Groups page I am using right *now*.  
The app should be designed to make it easy to use and transfer info in and 
out and see the same formatting follow into and from other Windows apps


Need to be able to copy in images, hyperlinks, and do automatic outline and 
paragraph formatting.

[MLO] Problem with Note Window background color

I tried to set the Note Window background to something other than white and 
it displays it for a moment but then turns back to white.  Any suggestions?

I think it is best to ignore the markdown, as it is more pain than it is 
worth.  Hard to believe in 2018 that a GUI would have markdown as the 
formatting method in a program designed to make your life easier.

[MLO] MLO crashed. Now will not WiFi sync with Android.

I have MLO pro on my android tablet.  I installed the desktop version and 
synced the two.  Overnight, the desktop version locked up and I had to 
reboot the PC.  When I reopened MLO, all my tasks were gone and when I 
tried to sync again, I get the error message "ERROR Cannot find paired file 
on PC. Please open paired MLO data file on PC.  If it does not help, close 
all MLO  instances on PC, run MLO on PC again and open file paired with 
this device profile.  I have done so, but it did not help.  How do I get 
this fixed?

[MLO] Reminder settings not being saved as default for future reminders

A dialog window pops up - Confirm - Would you like to save new reminder 
setings as default for future reminders?  
I select Yes, but the settings do not stick. 
The default that shows up when I check the box next to Reminder is Alerts" 
Reminders window
I would like for other events to occur -  Send email, Play sound, and 
Repeat Alert Actions
Has anyone else had this problem?  Looking for a fix.  Thanks.

[MLO] Syncing using Cloud to Iphone 3gs on Vodafone uk

I am having problems using the clous service to sync between the
desktop service and my iphone 3gs. When my Iphone is connected to a
wireless network I can sync with no problem. However I am unable to
get the phone to sync while connected via 3G. I get no error message
when testing the connection, however when I try to sync I get

Service Returned A failure Message:
Method not supplied.

Anyone else had this problem.

[MLO] Re: sync lockup

Got a new phone recently and it locks up everytime when I try to sync
with MLO.  Cannot get it to sync.  Have to do a reset on the phone to
get it to start working again.  HLLPP!
Syncs fine with Outlook.
