Re: [MLO] Re: multiple devices

2013-03-25 Thread Jim Caldwell
I'm not sure exactly how the purchase was made on the Kindle. If I
remember correctly, MLO was in the cloud apps when I got the new Fire
HD. I don't know if I had put it there on my older kindle fire and it was
still there, or how it got there. At any rate, I just installed it from
the cloud.

Yes, one license key works for all the android devices. I now have MLO
installed on my phone (HTC) and the fire.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.

Jim

That's not correct, unless the Kindle prevents you installing anything
other than from the Amazon marketplace. Purchase directly from Google Play
or form the MLO site and you can use the same license key on multiple
 Android devices.
You will need to purchase the PC version separately.

[MLO] Re: multiple devices

2013-03-23 Thread Steve Gledhill
Jim, I have tried so many different organizers, task managers, and MLO is
head and shoulders above the rest. I've been keeping up with questions in
the forum and they are very active and helpful

It saves its licence fee every month in terms of time saved, peace of mind
knowing that everything is captured and nothing gets forgotten (not
necessarily completed but not forgotten!). I agree that the mobile
licencing should be more flexible but definitely worth doing particularly
when you have location tasks set up).

I wish I'd paid for the full version years ago and the latest version is so
much better! Btw, I also pay for the cloud sync and that is a great help.
When I think about how much time it saves me and how organised I am now
compared to before, an extra $10 is neither here nor there!

Thanks for the replies. Question is now answered. I do have to purchase
a license for each android device. That's sad since most android apps only
require you to buy it once. So, it would cost $50/60 for the windows
software, then $10 for each device. I'll have to consider what to do. It
does seem to be a very capable software, though.

Btw, MLO does seem to work well on Kindle Fire HD. I have the trial
 version on there now.

I did search but didn't find a specific answer so, my questions are:

Do I have to buy a separate license for each device?

Can I just buy one license for the PC and run the application on all
 three of my devices?

Re: [MLO] Re: multiple devices

2013-03-22 Thread Lisa Stroyan
You can use one Android license for multiple android devices, isn't kindle
fire android? You probably would have to buy the license from the Kindle
fire, since the Kindle fire probably doesn't support the Google play store.
But at least on my android phone, I can use the Amazon app store apps on it
as long as I'm logged in.

However, the license for the desktop PC is a separate license.
