Yellow buttons appear here OK on newly installed Netsurf #4405.

you have bugs open about NetSurf having a "caching" issue or failure
to display images etc. none of which have logs attached and are
explicitly awaiting feedback. It would be helpful if you could respond
to these so we can get enough information to attempt to fix them.

On RISC OS I have determined that disc caching is generally a waste of
time as the filesystems performance is dreadful. The default *disc*
cache size on RISC OS is 0 (i.e. off) and is probably the correct
value for such low performance systems.

Thanks for all the replies.
I've tried unticking "Hide advertisements" but it makes no difference.
Yes, the gifs are in directory called "images".

I suspect it's a cacheing problem. I'll see if it clears after 24 hours.

All seems visible here! Latest 5.25 ROM, NetSurf 3.8 (Dev CI #4386) - both
latest AFAIK.

Whenever images don't show, I always suspect the Content option 'hide
advertisements' and you do have all those GIFs in a sub directory called
'images'. Try the option off if it's on and if that works, use a more
cryptic directory name than 'images'.

The GIF buttons show up and work on both sites with NS CI #4390.
What version of NS are you using?

No problem here Richard, the yellow nav buttons all display and work using
Netsurf Dev CI#4363

All those yellow links are working here.

> I've now got the same problem with http://www.minimarcos.org/

And the similar buttons here are working too.

ARMX6, RISC OS 5.25 RComp version, 25-Apr-18 and NetSurf 3.8 (Dev CI
#4385)

Just updated to #4389 and all the buttons still work.

Best wishes,

That one's now come back but the problem persists with MMPA. The MMPA site
works fine when run from the local disc. Only GIFs go awol; PNGs and JPEGs
are OK.

Hi all, I've got a strange problem on one of my sites.
On http://www.mmpa.org.uk/ all of the gif images are missing, including
the yellow navigation buttons at the top. If you go to other pages the
"home" and "News" buttons are present.

On Otter Browser and on other platforms all the images are present.

Before I raise a bug report I'd like to know if other NetSurf users are
seeing the same fault. There was a recent update to the news panel which
increased it's size. This could have affected the rendering.

I think you'll find that this is the same as Mantis case 532, which
