[Nuke-users] Aces Workflow in Nuke 8

2013-12-12 Thread Wesley Elfring
Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble with implementing the ACES workflow inside of nuke. We
are going to use the Sony F65 camera and export .exr's from their Raw
software. I've downloaded the samples files from the Aces site and tried to
convert the original to Aces in Nuke and compare that to their Aces
version. I've not yet been able to match the images.
The same counts for some test images from the F65 converted in Sony Raw
Viewer to Aces and the originals converted in Nuke.

Is there a preffered way (OCIO or Nuke's internal node) to convert between
sRGB or S-Gamut/Linear into Aces? It also seems that in the OCIO files,
there is no way to convert from sRGB 3D renders to Aces in a reliable way.
Could somebody shed some light on this?

I've attached a link to the project file is someone wants to take a look.

Re: [Nuke-users] AtomKraft/Nuke 1.1 + Free Beer + a new website

2012-03-31 Thread Wesley Elfring
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The message in the error is in Dutch
(as is my system), but here is the loosely translated one:

The version of this file is not compatible with version of Windows you're
running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need
an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact
the software publisher.

But It seems the download is just corrupt as I'm also not getting an icon
to show up (Tried to download it on a couple of computers).

Thanks,

Wesley

This could be related to a particular setup. Most likely is some
 missing writing permissions.
Can you let us know which 64 bit version of Windows you are using?
 Which language?

And what is the -exact- error message the installer gives you?

 Cheers,

 Paolo

Seems like the same problem I had with the Windows installer. Maybe their
downloads got corrupted.

 Hi,

First off let me say 'Thank your again for this awesome plugin, its
 fantastic!'.

I've just tried to download the OSx version and I'm getting an error at
 the end saying:

 The operation couldn't be competed.
 (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1).
 Couldn't open AtomKraft-1.1.0-0-Nuke6.3-64-free.pkg

I've tried the download in various browsers and get the same issue.

 Any ideas?

 Thanks,

 Matt

[Nuke-users] Importing FBX fails

2011-05-18 Thread Wesley Elfring
Hi,

I'm having a problem importing an FBX in the latest Nuke 6.2v4. The red
error bar pops up with the message Read error
/Applications/restofPath/plugins/fbxReader.dylib: Pugin did not define
fbxReader.

Is there a workaround for this bug? I've tested a few files on diffrent
mac's (All with 6.2v4) and all fail to import an fbx.

Thanks,

Wesley
