Hi Michael, David,
I have two questions about SDC,

1) I use SDC to design a VF with a new property names 
“nsServiceInvariantUUID” and default value as the vIMS service invariantUUID ,  
but when I download the VF resource TOSCA CSAR ,

there is no properties in the resource template. The attached is the service 
CSAR downloaded.



2) We have discussed about VNF sequencing, I want to know how can I design 
a service with VNF sequencing in SDC portal , is there a guide for that?

Sdc has two sets of apis one internal and one used by external components. In 
order to accses our internal api you will need to creat a consumer. I will

I do not think that exist an uri to get all resources. Trying your uri, I have 
the same response than you.

Trying to test SDC “external” API, what’s wrong with that :

As described before SDC has two sets of API’s:
Internal:

Internal API’s use a header called user_id to check if the user is provisioned 
in the system and if his role allows him to execute this API.
The internal API’s are provided to the SDC UI and should not be used by 
external components.

External:

This is a set of API’s provide to external component access to the SDC catalog 
this API’s are protected by basic authentication.
In order to use them you will first need to create a consumer in the system.
After one is created you will add the user and password to the request as a 
basic authentication header.
Please take a look here on how to generate the consumer and input him into the 
system: https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Consumer+creation

Now in your case option 1 is missing the USER_ID header
And option two you did not create a consumer in the system.

I think we need a meeting with A and SDNC to work out the details, given the 
open issue with not knowing which component will be creating in A certain 
cloud resources which may be needed to carry the MAC Address in the event.  
Note that now it will be a VNF and not a PNF that will be generating the event 
in A, and I am concerned that sending a MAC Address (i.e., the correlation 
key for ROBOT) in a VNF event may be unnatural.

I have updated the slides based upon the feedback today that modeling of BRG as 
a PNF will not be viable from an SO perspective in R1.  I have thus changed it

One issue we need to work is exactly which object SDNC will update in A as 
part of the BRG Event processing flow, and what will the event look like that 
is intercepted by ROBOT.  We need to verify that Robot will be able to 
correlate this event.  I believe that this can be done because the event will 
have the BRG_EMU VNF UUID on it.

Based on today's discussion, I added an agenda item to next week's call to 
start discussion on R2 (Beijing)  features including closer integration with 
VNF SDK project.

The seed code  project team requested additional ONAP committers to help with 
getting the seed code ready. I will email the existing committers about that 
separately.

We started Sprint 1 with 2 user stories in JIRA.

I made some updates that result in the BRG Allotted Resource Resource-Level 
flow looking like the TunnelXConn Allotte Resource Resource-Level flow, which 
is appropriate and necessary in fact.  I also updated the BRG_EMU Service-Level 
flow to clarify that now Robot must remember the BRG_EMU Service Instance UUID 
for its use when wearing the "Homing Emulator" hat.

One issue we need to work is exactly which object SDNC will update in A as

have the BRG_EMU VNF UUID on it.

As described before SDC has two sets of API’s:
Internal:

Internal API’s use a header called user_id to check if the user is provisioned 
in the system and if his role allows him to execute this API.
The internal API’s are provided to the SDC UI and should not be used by 
external components.

External:

This is a set of API’s provide to external component access to the SDC catalog 
this API’s are protected by basic authentication.
In order to use them you will first need to create a consumer in the system.
After one is created you will add the user and password to the request as a 
basic authentication header.

Now in your case option 1 is missing the USER_ID header

Please find my comments for your questions:

1.   In R1 SDC would introduce a special type of VF to represent NS. The NS 
node type would include NS node properties as well as service_invariant_uuid 
and service_uuid.

I should be able to share the full node description on Tuesday next week.

2.   You can use the requirement and capabilities to define the 
dependencies between the VNFs and other resources (networks for example). This 
would define the sequencing.

Important note: Although this is supported in SDC, based on my knowledge at the 
moment the sequencing is defined in a workflow which is created outside of SDC.
Examples (using VoLTE E2E service):

1.   The vIMS and vEPC are both depends on the underlayvpn network resource 
which means the orchestrator decompose into the following sequence: first, 
handle the underlayvpn and then vEPC and vIMS. Since there is no dependency 
between the vEPC and vIMS, it is up-to the orchestrator to decide the actual 
order (or do them both in parallel).

2.   Same as the previous model with the addition where vIMS is also 
depended on vEPC. Here the model specifically implies the vIME and vEPC 
instantiation order.

Again, I would like to emphasize that at the moment I don’t believe ONAP 
orchestrators (SO, VF-C) use the model (i.e., the relationships between the 
nodes) to identify the orchestration sequence.
As far as I know, the sequence is captured in a workflow which is associated 
with the service/VNF.

As discussed earlier, here are the steps to take to add a database in the ONAP 
MySQL and add tables using the APPC Docker Image's deployment scripts:

1)  ADD DATABASE (in [appc/deployment.git] / installation / appc / src / 
main / scripts / 
installAppcDb.sh)
 - This script is where all database creations and its permissions should go 
under.



2)  ADD TABLES (in [appc/deployment.git] / installation / appc / src / main 
/ resources / 
appcctl.dump)
 - This file is where all table creations should go under when the tables are 
in the appcctl database (already created). Currently, appcctl.dump has the 
definition to create the transactions table.

I have in my env file something like:

  }
When I try to create the VSP I receive 
Error code: SVC4519
Status code: 400
mismatch in data-type occurred for property json_parameter. data type is json 
and default value found is {some_key="some_key_value", ... } 
Please notice the "=" from the value, instead of ":"

oom/registrator which is written in Go language.  Which jjb templates am I 
supposed to use? There are a lot of templates in ci-management repo, but I 
can't find a suitable one for Go by myself. 





We might need these templates:

Verify job:  which can trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Merge job: which can  trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Daily job: which can  trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Docker job: which can  trigger a shell script to build docker image




We also need a Jenkins work node which has Go installed to run the jobs.




I think we don't need to push the executable binaries to nexus which is used 
for java lib, only the docker image will be push to nexus3. So we might not 
need the daily job template.




Could you please help with this?

As described before SDC has two sets of API’s:


Internal:


 


Internal API’s use a header called user_id to check if the user is provisioned 
in the system and if his role allows him to execute  this API.


The internal API’s are provided to the SDC UI and should not be used by 
external components.


 


External:


 


This is a set of API’s provide to external component access to the SDC catalog 
this API’s are protected by basic authentication.


In order to use them you will first need to create a consumer in the system.


After one is created you will add the user and password to the request as a 
basic authentication header.

Now in your case option 1 is missing the USER_ID header


And option two you did not create a consumer in the system.

DCAEGEN2 has the API documents under 
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/DCAE+API+Documentation.  They are in Swagger 
generated HTML format.  At the time of generation this was known as the most 
complete format for API specification.  Converting to the new readthedocs 
format is a new requirement that we did not know about and planned for before.  
Currently we have no spare resources to work on this conversion task.

I issued a call for volunteer during DCAE’s weekly meeting earlier this 
morning.  So far no one responded.  I will keep you updated if the situation 
changes.

With the API freeze at the M3 milestone, I am interested in  the availability 
of the Amsterdam release DCAE API documentation from the DCAE project.

While there is some DCAE API documentation on the wiki at:

project  provides the documentation tool chain for all ONAP projects ( refer 
Documentation section M1 Release planning documentation). The Documentation 
Project tool chain delivers release-controlled ONAP documentation to

There is currently no documentation on DCAE APIs available at  
http://onap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
(The documentation tool chain/Jenkins jobs are up and working now for other 
projects)

Can the DCAE project/PTL  identify a contact person to work on the 
documentation aspects of DCAE?
Ideally the contact should be identified 
here.
The general process on documenting projects in ONAP is described 
here.

VNFs have requirements to support DCAE APIs. From VNFRQTS project, we are 
trying to complete 
VNFRQTS-90
 in our current sprint-3.   To complete this, we need at least a chapter 
heading available at  http://onap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html for our 
requirements deliverable to point to for DCAE API documentation. Our VNFRQTS 
Sprint 3 is due to complete September 12, so  we would appreciate if you could 
have the DCAE API documentation outline up at  
http://onap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html within the next week.

Please advise if you need help to achieve this.

[onap-discuss] Help: Which jjb template can be used for Go?

Hi,

I'm working on jenkins jobs(verify, merge, daily and docker image) for 
oom/registrator which is written in Go language.  Which jjb templates am I 
supposed to use? There are a lot of templates in ci-management repo, but I 
can't find a suitable one for Go by myself. 





We might need these templates:

Verify job:  which can trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Merge job: which can  trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Daily job: which can  trigger a shell script to build Go binaries

Docker job: which can  trigger a shell script to build docker image




We also need a Jenkins work node which has Go installed to run the jobs.




I think we don't need to push the executable binaries to nexus which is used 
for java lib, only the docker image will be push to nexus3. So we might not 
need the daily job template.




Could you please help with this?
