I haven't time to test each build, Jürgen, but i downloaded now the
Brazilian (pt-BR) - r1309668 - now and found a strange behavior. All
strings in the menu bar are in english, and when i open a dialog, it

Yes. Anyway, i took a look in localize.sdf file for pt-BR and found
some strings in a different column. Did you chek the file struture
after the convertion from PO format?

The more strange was to see some portuguese (pt-PT) strings in the UI. :-S

In Mac OSX SnowLeopard and Win7 with your packages (r1309668), and

All with same problem.

I have used your po files to update the Pootle server and that looked ok
for me. The word count matched, the file structure looked good ...

I used this version from ppotle and convert it back into sdf in the same

Maybe you can check the version on the Pootle server if the problem is
there already.

don't see major localization problems.

Actually, I see that a few strings (like print options and Pivot Tables)
that were missing in previous builds are now properly localized

It is broken (as Juergen wrote) but this is not the right way to verify
it: your command would fail the same way on any executable file.

The command md5sum -c assumes you have a text file (call it MD5FILE)
with the expected checksums, one per line, like

http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/stable/3.3.0/OOo_3.3.0_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe.md5

You then run md5sum -c MD5FILE on this file to recompute the checksum
on the file you downloaded and automatically compare it with the one
stored in MD5FILE.

Is it possible to include kid pseudolocale in the build?

For this round it is potentially too late, at least for Windows.

Can you tell me more about this pseudolocale kid. I know you have
mentioned it before but I have to confess that I don't know anything
about it and would like to learn more...

Do we need it on Pootle as well? How is it prepared?

I meant do we need as reference on Pootle? I would expect that it is
generated automatically but I don't know how.

Thanks.
Sometimes we need to find particular UI element in SDF/PO set. Kid
(Key ID) interface greatly simplifies this task.

ok, I was able to create a new kid/localize.sdf and will prepare a
language pack for MacOS later.

We can include this pseudo-locale in the future when we have ensured
that the new file works as expected and the language pack is usable.

Juergen,
Refering to the emails from Lily and me days early, we think a regression
testing against the RC build is necessary. I'm not sure how the community
vote works, but I suggest to take Lily's vote as a MUST HAVE from QE
perspective, after the build passed her regression test.

OK. I would recommend that we do not delay the vote for the regression
test results. Instead, we should have the voting period be long enough
that the regression tests will be done before the vote closes. That way
IPMC members can do their release verification in parallel with Lily's
final testing.

I agree, that's why I ask how long the vote will continue. Once RC build is
ready, the RC build test will begin, most focus on installation, and some
regression testing.
