Business Analyst with experience in:
Project Costing
Contracts: Specifically as-incurred and fixed-fee revenue contracts.
Billing/AR

Consultant should have a technical  working knowledge as well. Candidate
does not  need to develop code but  must be able to troubleshoot issues and
look behind the scenes. Understand billing plans, revenue plans, etc.  a
big plus.

Serve as a consultative business partner to IT client groups on business
process design patterns, principles and techniques.
Possesses and maintains a thorough knowledge of the capabilities and
functions of PeopleSoft.  Uses this knowledge to recommend optimal
solutions to business requirements that best leverage the product.
Design and develop metrics and ensure functional ownership is established
for continuous improvement.
Develop change management strategies and plans with particular emphasis on
a process-oriented approach.
Develop business process architectures, process relationship maps,
functional relationship maps, cross-functional maps and work flow diagrams.
Develop and maintain an enterprise view of business processes, identifying
cross-functional relationships and interdependencies.
Align processes with corporate strategy, business requirements and IT
capabilities.
Working with the business to establish and document those business
requirements needed to implement system enhancements or change development
requests.
Demonstrate ability to add value to the business through business process
improvement initiatives
Interacts with Information Technology, Outsourced Development and Support
team, and Business Teams.
Support business processes related to Order to Cash in an integrated
environment with Agile Product Lifecycle Management.

Job Level Specific Duties

• Works with functional leaders to gain an understanding of business
imperatives and act as an advocate with IT.
• Actively works with other IT leaders to ensure that the appropriate
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are well understood by the business and
that any performance issues are addressed with swift, actionable results.
• Ensures IT delivery is managed with transparency and reported back to the
business regularly against the corresponding metrics (clear service
definition, SLA, cost recharges, service reviews and monitoring metrics).
• Ensures enterprise priorities are established and communicated to
business community.
• Facilitates development of cross-line business solutions that combine
knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general

• Provides a supporting role to the budgeting process to gather business
requirements, prioritize functional needs, and work with peers and IT
