· Experience using TFS or Quality Center testing tool for
documenting test cases and reporting defects.

· Develop, document and maintain test scripts and other test
artifacts like business use cases, test data, data validation, expected
result and repeatable test scripts to QA complex business rules, reporting
deliverables and data transformation.

· Execute and evaluate test results and report on the outcome.

· Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional
team members.

· Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and
escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.

· Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design

· specifications and requirements.

· Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

· Status Reporting to Implementation Manager.

· Align with overarching data governance and compliance
policies/guidelines.

   - Own the Software QA process, including: developing, implementing, and
   maintaining test plans, test scenarios and test cases
   - Analyze requirement and design specifications for test case development
   - Recommend test automation approach, tools and frameworks
   - Develop test infrastructure and custom automation tools as needed to
   expand test coverage and enable non-functional testing
   - Perform manual and automated tests for our website and applications
   - Prioritize test execution
   - Find and report defects with detailed, accurate and concise steps to
   reproduce
   - Assist developers in discovering and researching defects, and
   recommend system enhancements
   - Complete ownership for all testing across multiple applications build
   with a varied set of tools/technologies
   - Build/Lead a team of test analysts using mix of employees and vendor
   resources offshore
   - Hands on testing that includes analyzing requirements, preparing test
   plans and building appropriate test cases to validate the functionality
   being built
   - Support and execution of the application testing phase (functional 
   non-functional) to ensure all software meets requirements before changes
   are placed in production.
   - Liaison/co-ordination with other technology groups (across sites) to
   coordinate/execute end-end testing
   - Drive all efforts on test automation, includes planning, hands-on
   scripting and oversight of other resources working on automation



*Requirements*

   - Experience breaking complex software systems
   - Experience evaluating software architectures and designs to identify
   potential quality, performance and scalability weaknesses or limitations
   and developing an automated test regimen to fully exercise these suspect
   areas
   - Experience leading QA process development, execution, and documentation
   - A strong command of manual and automated testing methodologies and
   general quality concepts
   - Experience with Agile SDLC, troubleshooting and tech support at
   lightning speeds
   - Experience with scripting software automation testing products,
   including QTP  Selenium
   - Extensive knowledge of web technologies and experience testing web
   APIs/REST services
   - Extensive knowledge of scripting languages, SQL, and high-level
   languages such as in C#  Java
   - Experience integrating the execution of QTP regression scripts with
   Atlassian Bamboo build server
   - Experience testing hosted/cloud SaaS web applications is highly
   desirable
   - Experience testing native mobile applications is desirable
   - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or related field

QA Automation Developer

The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work
successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple environments
and architectures, diverse technologies and lab environments. The
individual will work closely with testers, project managers, network
engineers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test
iterations, tracking / reporting results and troubleshooting. The
individual should have an understanding of SDLC processes and the QA
lifecycle and methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with product management, project management and test teams
to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and
technical use
cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script
new tools
for performing testing/validation function
• Develop the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform
automated testing using (primarily) Mercury Interactive/HP products
(ALM/Quality Center, QTP, etc), Selenium, Empirix (G5 and FX-TDM)
• Develop scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic
test tools as required for test automation
• Execute and analyze automation test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different
teams to drive
towards root cause identification and resolution
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center
or
similar tools/means
• Support testing and/or application deployment during the off-hours for
“validation testing”

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in software and/or test automation
development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good software development/scripting skills in common languages like VB,
JAVA, PERL ,C++, and/or bash, etc
• Database skills (SQL), mainly in Oracle and SQL Server
• Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Linux
and Windows
variants
• Good understanding of object oriented programming
• Knowledge of automated testing tools/frameworks, like QTP, Selenium,
CucumberSoapUI, Empirix (G5 and FX-TDM), etc.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of IP and VoIP networking, protocols
such as HTTP/HTML and SIP, various web browsers, firewalls, routers,
Apache, Weblogic, etc.
• Must be flexible, independent and self motivated
• All work to be performed on site
• B.S. Computer Science or technical certification and/or experience
