Exact Audio Copy is a truly outspend tool.
Its been a good while since I’ve used it given I use my Mac for that sort of 
thing so I don’t know where the software is at these days.
First thing I will tell you is that - due to the truly configurable and 
customisable nature of Exact Audio Copy - you’ll need to set aside a little 
time to get everything up and running and making sure that everything is 
performing accurately.
I do know there are tutorials available to help configure Exact Audio Copy so 
take a look for those with Google.
And finally, Exact Audio Copy is exactly that, exact when it comes to Ripping 
CD’S so don’t be surprised if the software takes an hour or more to rip a 
single CD depending on its condition, if Exact Audio copy takes five or so

Winamp plugin

Hi group,

Does anyone know where I can find a Winamp plugin that will allow me to play
files at an increased rate? Any helpful info welcomed.

hi.  there's actually even an easier way.

what's happening is that it's a setup screen.
make sure that the Winamp classic skin is selected, and everything else 
should be fine so just click the finish button and you should be good.  
Everything that you want is turned on by default.  to get rid of the 
Winamp library, simply hit alt plus l and the library will go away. like 
everything else it's a toggle so if you hit alt l again it'll come back.
you may receive a message asking if you want to import your music into 
the library. tab to the no button and press the space bar and then press 
alt plus l and everything should be set.  by default, the equalizer, 
main window and playlist editor are all turned on, but the equalizer 
needs to be activated with the letter n while focused in the equalizer 
window.   you can press control plus tab to cycle between Winamp windows.

There's really no way to get away from  a playlist in winamp. If you have
winamp set as your default player, of course, every time you press enter on
a file, it will play through winamp automaticly. However, the next time you
run winamp, the last file you entered will  show in the playlist.
