Magic DVD Ripper/Copier For Mac Bundl
Hi! This bundle is available today for more than 60% off the original price for a single user licence. The purchase includes lifetime upgrades and support. I’d imagine that a similar bundle is out there for the Windows PC? On the Mac the two utilities seem very much accessible. ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.

WinEx DVD ripper
Hi folks. Although I'm in no hurry I intend getting a reasonable DVD ripper. I've tried in the past to use Magic DVD ripper but that isn't easy to use. Lots of DVD rippers are not accessible but while doing a search I came across WinEx DVD ripper. There is a free version and a platinum paid for version. I have downloaded the free version but haven't yet installed it because at this moment I have no DVDs to rip. I intend buying the 5 DVD disc series Cosmos and I will want to rip them to my hard drive. I would like to know before installing this WinEx DVD ripper if any of you have had experience of it. According to a web site I found, not connected to the WinEx web site, it is simple to use. The paid for version can defeat DRM but it seems not the free version but that doesn't matter because I don't think the discs I will buy are DRM protected. I really just want to know if the programme is as easy to use as has been stated. If you have used it or still use it could you please share your experience as it would be very helpful, thank you. dvd ripper and all music converter
Hi, listers! When I use these two programs, often the conversions to mp3 come out with weird stutters in them, or skips, or things I can't quite describe. I always turn off all other programs as these two converter programs tell you to do, but I still run into this annoying situation. Any ideas? Or are these programs just a bit shabby? Smile. Re: dvd ripper and all music converter
Hi, For getting DVDs, I'd suggest DVD Decrypter. It can be found on the web, make sure you get the older version and don't check for updates. If you just want the audio from them, DVD Audio Extractor is wonderful and I've never had problems with it. As for music conversion, I personally use Gold Wave, because it can use the Lancer OGG encoders. If you're converting from MP3, CDex is a nice program. Much faster, but encoding to AAC and such formats is somewhat trying. Re: dvd ripper and all music converter
My problem is that I want to convert rax files, which are those pesky Real files that are drm protected, and wma drm protected files as well. The only program I know that will convert those to mp3 is all music converter. If there's another one out there, I'd be happy to try it! Re: dvd ripper and all music converter
Hi Well, as long as you have the license for the WMA files, you can use the diskwriter plug-in in Winamp if you have that to write wav files, then convert them to mp3 or whatever with CDex. As for Real files, I have no idea. I've never even installed Real Player. Possibly something like Tunebyte when selected as the sound card in Real might do it a bit better, never used that either but I know it's out there. Re: dvd ripper and all music converter
sound taxi should convert the WMA files. I believe it actually re-writes them to a new file. there is another program that writes a new file when you play the music in real time, but the name escapes me at the moment. do a google search for cracking DRM files and you should find it. - Original Message - From: Kathy Szinnyey [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2008 7:54 AM Subject: Re: dvd ripper and all music converter My problem is that I want to convert rax files, which are those pesky Real files that are drm protected, and wma drm protected files as well. Explain to me then, how to click on the browse button to select where your output files go. I've tried and tried and tried and tried and tried, and cannot find a real easy way that is consistent a hundred percent of the time. It's too bad that CDex doesn't have a DVD ripping program! - Original Message - From: Andrea Sherry [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. Re: dvd ripper
Don't you sort of have to have that Decss thing in there to rip a DVD? It's just hard to get one to play these days, often I hear the theme repeating over and over to no end and it never seems to start. I played with PowerDVD, which came with my new burner. If one could just rip the audio, one could play in winamp and have no choppy sound or trouble with menu systems. - Original Message - From: Gary Wood [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list.
