Yeah, if you have an easily reproducable bug, then its best to just go ahead and post to the bug tracker, i.e report bug on the Help menu. Re: [PD] [PD-announce] pd 0.43 test 2 (first 'real' test version) released
Actually, it launches pd, if I go to the directory of the bin of the compiled source.. so there's something not perfectly working with the tidy up. after sudo make install 1) if I launch from bin - ok. 2) If I launch from /usr/bin - that error appears. I'll look more into it, if it is not related to my system I'll post to the tracker. For the client, it's more complicated to tell the difference, because it's been split into smaller files, and namespaces have been added, but when opening random tcl files from that folder, I do recognise most of the lines as being quite exactly the same that I once all read over 6 years ago. _ _ __ ___ _ _ _ ... | Mathieu Bouchard, Montréal, Québec. téléphone: +1.514.383.3801___ Pd-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

Hans, I know there's a more formal way to enter bugs for the GUI rewrite, but I encountered an issue when choosing Properties for objects (In my case, a canvas object). I can't move the window that pops up. There's an offset each time you open the menu again and eventually it will make its way towards the bottom of the screen and I can't access the buttons on the bottom of the window. I know I can just press enter and it will exit. You do have to be selecting Properties a lot to get to this point though. I've attached a screen shot. Let me know if this is just a matter of changing a parameter and if I need to post this somewhere else. That should not come as a surprise since that was a clearly stated goal of this phase of the GUI rewrite. The idea is to first rewrite the Tcl side, touching as little of the C code as possible. The Tcl side was rewritten from scratch, with lots of borrowing, where it made sense. In other words, one step at a time. :) .hc ___ Pd-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
