PESO Rachel of Hotsy Totsy
This Jazz singer is not Ms. Denoise. The band Hotsy Totsy (formerly Rose and the Honeysuckers) played at the monthly live music night at the local swing dance. I hadn't planned on taking photos, but on my way in the band asked me if I was going to, and I took the hint. I feel that the majority of the aesthetic value of this photo is due to the subject matter rather than the photographer. https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/43755300141/in/album-72157693855328620/ The lighting absolutely sucked. Most of the light is above and behind the band members. There is a color changing LED lamp to the left of the band, so much/most of the front lighting is in wonky colors. At one point I got a battery powered LED lamp (from costco) and put it on a speaker to try and improve the lighting. It helped but not enough, so I went back out to my van and got a LED headlamp and played with it. I make it a point to avoid using flash at dances, but I realized I could cheat and still avoid using flash. For those interested, full set at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157693855328620 All photos taken with K-1 and my 100/2.8 macro. -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com http://red4est.com/lrc https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/collections/72157612824732477/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Good luck with calendars this year.. I checked out FAA - don't think I would bother. Retail prices about the same as cafe press for the duvet twin , no curtains and no pillow casesso not much point unless the fabric was superior to c p. I've been on cafe press for years as a designer -- I don't have to pay them anything at all- I get 10% royalties on anything they sellin the market place. I have a few hundred designs loaded... its like stock photography :-) I was sorry they are nto offering wall calendars anymore for new designs but theystill have a bunch of my calendars listed there - they will doubtless continue to offer wall calendars until their stock runs out. since I have the thoer palce, I don't mind. Although my sample photo doesnt show it, the lens is known for excellent bokeh. It and the vivitar series 1 version both go by the nickname "Bokina". Re: MACRO shot with Tokina AT-X 90mm F2.5 PKA Manual Focus
Interesting. He mentions the Vivitar Series 1, 90/2.5 and says it’s heavier. It is indeed because it’s all metal and built like a tank. He also fails to mention that the Vivitar came with an optical converter that makes it 1:1. I was heartbroken because I thought workers had stolen my pristine copy, but I’m happy to report that I found hiding at the rear of a shelf just the other day. Re: Blood moon in the Netherlands
Some of the best, most enjoyable photos of the eclipse I've seen on Flickr have lots of clouds in them.
