Dan, the adult snails are about half the size of a brick.

Toine, they are edible but I wouldn't try it.

Good news: Ricoh has released a video with details about the new K-3

Bad News: No translation or English subtitiles

It does look as if it will have somewhat better extreme high ISO performance

I certainly understand that game.

I built this one out of pieces-parts for ~ $1500 and 2/3 of that is the 10
drives I have in it.

10 drives? That must be one large case.

I’m very interested in learning what you did. My synology is going to fill up
pretty soon and it’s close to maxed out.

It has issues with limits on the partition size, and it seems really quite slow.

Case is a Sharktoon T9. I have two Icy-Dock FatCage MB155SP-B 5-in-3 SATA
backplanes; two RiiTOP PCIe 6-port SATA III Adapter Cards with 5-2TB Seagate NAS
drives in one cage & 5-4TB Seagate NAS drives in the other.

The 2TB drives were the drives at the $100 sweet spot when I bought them. By the
time I was ready to buy the second set, the 4TB drives were at $100.

Plus I learned how to do some stuff I hadn't known how to do before.

As long as that didn’t include new reasons to swear at electronics ..

No, but I was reminded of some of the OLD reasons to swear at them.

When was the last time you had a computer that wouldn't boot because of a faulty
power switch?

Re: PESO - Sledding in the Park

2021-02-28 Thread John
That would be cool. Maybe by then things will be more or less normal with Covid
only a memory.

Back when I was 15-1/2 you could get a learner's permit (you could drive with
your parents in the car) *IF* you had completed Driver's Ed & if you had
Driver's Ed you could take the License test at 16 and were more or less
unrestricted after that.

Because of the way my school scheduled Driver's Ed I only had a learner's permit
for about a month before I was allowed to take the test.

And I think now the license 16 year olds get (IF they have Driver's Ed) is
restrictive. Not supposed to drive after dark ... I don't know how they enforce
it though.

Without Driver's Ed you have to wait until age 18 to take the test. And you're
insurance rates are going to be a lot higher. But there are still some kids who
don't take Driver's Ed for whatever reason.

When I was 15 1/2 I got my pink slip in California for Driver's Ed. Don't know
if it's changed. On the subject of which, Lynbrook High School is planning a
mega-reunion in 2023 (I would have been class of '76 but we returned to England
before my junior year) so I'm looking at maybe coming over to do some
touring..

I use a single focus point in the center and AF-S. I focus and keep

Manual focus only if the model is posing in the bushes and with macro.
