I got a bounce message the first time... lets see if this gets through Original Message Subject: GESO: 48 states in 12 pages - and - phew, back on line comments :-) Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2012 08:59:31 -0400 From: Ann Sanfedele ann...@nyc.rr.com To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List pdml@pdml.net Even if you have not the slightest interest or funds for getting THIS particular calendar, I hope you might enjoy doing the geo puzzle using the write-up on line. http://annsan.smugmug.com/Works-in-Print/Calendars-in-Print/48-States-Puzzle-calendar/25894417_PdC2HM The How to play the game text is on the calendar cover - I think it is large enough to read it easily. Shout out to Walt Gilbert who nicely donated a photo to the cause because I didn't have one of anything in one particular state and my friend Gary Ricketts gave me another. The one with a goose in it (not my Photo anuual shot) was one by my late sweetheart, and I own that copyright anyway. I wish I HAD taken it What a nightmare - two full days of not being able to communicate, list things on ebay, upload files to cafepress or play Words with friends... that freed me to do dishes, housework and take longer cleaning up some photo files and being arty.. Thanks to Christine for alerting the troops (in case it was down even longer!) It happened when the library was closed - and the whole building was out, I managed a few minutes on someones' wi-fi powered phone connection (I'm never getting an I-pad , even if I win the lottery.) will try to get back into the swing of things soon ann -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

I know that area well. I used to live in Lancaster and commute to Van Nuys, and took back roads at least half the time. Sierra Hwy, Agua Dulce Cyn, Soledad Cyn, Bouquet Cyn, Big Tujunga, Little Tujunga, Angeles Forest Hwy... I think Little Tujunga Canyon Road is my favorite driving road ever. Tight switchbacks with steep drops, and I could sometimes go the whole way without getting behind anyone, even during rush hour. I usually saved that one for Fridays, to kick off the weekend.
