I think I have it set correctly for conversion, and I also set it to generate an error message if someone tries to post something that's not explicitly accepted, so instead of just wondering what happened to your email and then having me tell you to try plain text, you should get the bounce. That said, I don't anticipate many error messages if I have it set the way we want it. Carry on, then. I run a small mailing list through Google Groups which does allow attachments. Every so often someone will send a photo then everyone who replies to it tends to include another copy of the original attachment (I think this behaviour varies depending on software / settings). The data can add up pretty quickly. I'm perfectly fine with any arrangement. If we go HTML, I'll be able to get rid of special mailer that I have on my cell phone, because GMail default client on android cannot send plain text.
