All I get from the data recovery effort is random noise back from the last iteration of the write loop. It's pretty efficient, takes only about thirty seconds to run on a 1G card. Correct exposure is about saving information, the information provided by the light. If you misexposed, you lost some information forever. No PhotoShop can get it to you if it hasn't been recorded... No trouble at all, in fact Doug did so for a long time. But they were still too stupid to figure it out, or reading to the bottom of a message was too much work. I guess a bit of code could be written to automatically forward anything with unsubscribe in the subject to the list server. Then all us wise guys could get kicked off the list every week or so too...
