[Phono-L] Phonos for Sale

2013-01-02 Thread Kurt Nauck

2013 Greetings!

I recently purchased a couple of large record collections, and now it
looks like I'm going to have to make room for several thousand 16
transcription discs as well. So it's time to move some large items
from the shop and gain a little space.

The following pieces are available for sale (or trade for interesting
records).

Victor 10-50 changer with new parts already installed, plus albums
and record loader

Oak Edison Amberola 75
Mahogany serpentine cased 15 Reginaphone with base cabinet
Pathe Actuelle Classique with cone resonator in a gothic cabinet
Edison Adam Diamond Disc phono
Edison L-19 DD phono
Edison C-4 radio-phono combination
Rosenfield Illustrated Song Machine (cabinet only)
Edison H-19 w/fleur-de-lis grill (virtually mint)
Columbia Art Case Hepplewhite Console (exceedingly rare)
Columbia Princess End Table phono
A wonderful table with built in phonograph, the likes of which I've never seen
Mills Zephyr Jukebox with the record carousel mechanism
Brunswick Panatrope AZ-944 Art Case console with wooden cone horn
speaker and terrific original hand-painted floral artwork

Contact me at na...@78rpm.com or 281-288-7826 if interested. The more
you want, the better the deal! (In fact, if you buy enough, I may be
able to deliver them myself.)

[Phono-L] Phonos for sale in advance of Union

2012-05-21 Thread Merle Sprinzen
I've got a small bunch of phonos I'd like to sell - all in the small
category - and thought I'd see if anyone is interested. I'm happy to bring
them to Union.

1. Vanophone - In very good working order. The reproducer is not original,
though, and it doesn't attach to the tone arm very securely. $295

2. A Kompact - In very good working order. It's the one with a wooden case
and the turntable that's all one piece rather than the one in three parts
that fan out. I believe the case has been refinished and for sure the
handle has been replaced. $195

3. A Pollyphone - The one with a cardboard horn that folds flat (missing).
The handle has been replaced. I'd say this one is really only good for
parts. $50.

I can send photos of any of these if you're interested - hope you are!

Don,

Did you ever answer whether or not the Zonophone was pre or post Victor?
If pre, I am interested. If post, I already have one!

Thanks,
Jeff

Is the Zonophone an early style with the traditional Zonophone details
(embossed nickeled iron top plate, S-shaped crank, etc.), or later
style with more Victor type features?

The Excelda Cameraphone is sold. If anyone is interested in the Victor
VV-VI table model, please make me an offer. I won't be offended if your
offer is too low. I just may be unable to accept it.
Thank you.

Due to circumstances, I need to part with a couple of machines. Here is
what I have to offer:

Thorens Excelda Cameraphone ($160.00 or make me a reasonable offer, plus
shipping) This machine is in good condition and runs well. The reproducer
is tight a plays well and sounds great. This one is in better condition
than any others I have seen.

Victor VV-VI table model ($170.00 or make me a reasonable offer, plus
shipping) This machine is a good solid runner and the case is in nice
condition. It comes with an exhibition reproducer that is tight and plays
well and sounds great. This machine can be your work horse and could be
used to play your records on a daily basis, saving your more valuable
machines for the future.

If you are interested, please e-mail me directly at tom...@msn.com and I
will be happy to provide you with photos and answer any questions that you
might have.

I accept Paypal and will work with you for timely delivery.
Thank you.

[Phono-L] Phonos for sale.

2006-12-24 Thread Jerry DeeDee Blais
Hello Group, I went to Union with the intent of buying a really nice table
model machine...perhaps a Zonophone or a fancy cased Columbia cylinder
machine. I did come home with some treasures but they were much larger
than I planned. I bought two uprights and a large cylinder record cabinet
so something has got to go to make room. I would like to offer two
machines that have been in my collection for several years and are very
interesting machines. They are:
Puritan upright Model Artline. Puritans were made in Sheboygan,
Wisconsin and are known for their interesting cabinets. Mine is a mahogany
example with curved sides, flat in the front, and the horn exits near the
bottom of the cabinet. It is in excellent unrestored condition and the
price is $1000
Retola upright made by the Ausonia Reed Furniture Company of New York.
The machine is made of reed (similar to wicker) and is complete. At some
time in its past, someone repainted the outside of the machine. Retolas
must have been made in small numbers. There is a place on the nametag for
a serial number and it is blank. The price is $850.
I am going to the CAPS sale in August and would be happy to deliver
the machines to the show. If anyone is interested, please contact me off
list. I am happy to answer any questions. Feel free to call me at
541-926-2843 before 10pm (Pacific Coast time). Thanks Happy Collecting,
Jerry Blais
