I have a photocopy of the repair manual for the electric motors up to 1918. It indicates there were some 7 electric motors in the Business Phonograph from the bipolar open frame one to the date of the manual. I can only imagine what Edison had to say about the reproducers and recorders or the shavers. I guess in the future I will have to bid $1,000 for a $20 manual just to be sure I win it. I would love to make a CD of every Edison Form number I could lay my hands on. It would make research so much easier.
