If you want the shared interbase module (.so) you should compile with: --with-interbase=shared,/opt/interbase and modify your php.ini I suggest you read the relevant pages in the manual. Thanks Stephano PHP's Interbase driver prepares the query even when it's not needed, may create views queries can't be prepared, I don't now. Try to check to ibase_errmsg() after the first query to see what's happening. Usually views should be created outside the scripts. Don't use DDL in scripts, it's not necessary, and will slow your scripts down.
