Dear maintainer,

I've prepared an NMU for libhdf4 (versioned as 4.2r4-11.1) and
uploaded it to DELAYED/5. Please feel free to tell me if I
should delay it longer.

Cheers

Luk

Just for note, it would be better simply removing the .la helper.

Yes, though dx is still depending on it.

Cheers

Luk

You should contact the Release Team and not file bugs against packages
that should not be closed by a sourceful package upload.

It is mentioned on the transitions page, though indeed not very obvious.

You could see that binNMUs were scheduled by looking at
http://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=gdal

Why would gpsdrive be removed, you don't use 'Conflicts: gpsdrive', do you?

I don't see why a Depends is needed, the Recommends seems fine and the
Replaces should solve the reported bug?

[DebianGIS-dev] Bug#383144: Uninstallable due to unmet deps on libgdal1-1.3.1 and libgrass

2006-08-15 Thread Luk Claes
Package: libgdal1-1.3.1-grass
Severity: serious
Version: 1.3.1.2-1

Hi

Your package is not installable as it depends on libgdal1-1.3.1 and
libgrass, both of which are not available in unstable anymore. You might
want to update these dependencies to libgdal1-1.3.2 and grass after
verifying that your package still works with them (it won't be a bad
idea to rename your package to avoid confusion...).

Cheers

Luk

Hi

Your package recommends libgdal1-1.3.1 which is not available in
unstable anymore. You might want to update the recommends to
libgdal1-1.3.2 after verifying that your package works with that version.

[DebianGIS-dev] Bug#383140: Uninstallable due to unmet dep on libgdal1-1.3.1

2006-08-15 Thread Luk Claes
Package: perl-mapscript
Severity: serious
Version: 4.8.3-2

Hi

Your package depends on libgdal1-1.3.1 which is not available in
unstable anymore. You might want to investigate if your package also
works with libgdal1-1.3.2...

Cheers

Luk

[DebianGIS-dev] Bug#352404: libgdal-grass: FTBFS due to unmet build-dep libgdal1-dev

2006-02-11 Thread Luk Claes
Package: libgdal-grass
Severity: serious
Version: 1.2.6-1

Hi

Your package FTBFS because libgdal1-dev is not available (anymore). You
might want to update the build dependency to libgdal1-1.3.1-dev.

Cheers

[DebianGIS-dev] Bug#350437: FTBFS due to uninstallable build-dep libgdal1-dev

2006-01-29 Thread Luk Claes
Package: mapserver
Severity: serious
Version: 4.6.1-6

Hi

Your package FTBFS because libgdal1-dev is not available anymore. You
might want to update that build dependency to libgdal1-1.3.1-dev. You
also might want to fix the spelling error of Build-Conflicts (capital C).

Cheers

Luk
