Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify
Lasse, That looks like wavin:0 should work. Perhaps you could try Siduhe's suggestion as Spotify looks to be messing with audio at srtaup. http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=388864postcount=4 BigTony, WaveInput is doing what it is supposed to do - relay audio exactly as from Windows mixer. This also enables user to control audio levels from PC to SC. Problem is that many PC/Laptops have cut costs and no longer have true analog controls on speaker amp and use digital control via Windows control panel. Another user suggested plugging in headphones as a way to mute the PC speakers. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58013 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] SoftSqueeze Sirius
Ok, I've been searching for about an hour now. I have this problem and I know I'm not alone. Sirius works great with hardware players but will not work with SoftSqueeze. (looks like it's playing buy no sound) From what I can tell it's because Siruis outputs a WMA stream that my client running SoftSqueeze cannot decode. It looks like there is an 83 page post that the answer may be in there somewhere, but I can't find it and I'm sick of looking through it. So, for an XP box running SoftSqueeze 3.7, and another XP box running SC 7.3.2, how can I get this to work? I'm assuming/hoping there is a simple plug-in I need to install on the client to aid in decoding. . . Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
I've searched through this thread and haven't found the answer to this -- sorry if I've overlooked something. The problem is that after suspending to SN, I can't figure out how to wake up my server using an SB Controller. I try changing the Music Source to my SC server, but that doesn't seem to send the WOL packet to nudge the machine awake, so the SBC won't switch sources. Waking up from suspend-to-SN is fine with the IR remotes and Boom controls. If I wake it up from the IR remote, then the SBC switches over to SC automagically. And waking up from a simple suspend (no SN) works with all devices, including the SBC. I tried the clever idea of using the RetroBrowser in the SBC, but only ended up hanging the RetroBrowser So it's just sending the WOL from a SN-connected SBC that's got me stumped for now. Any guidance most appreciated! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Lyrics plugin on controller
The applet is working on my controller. But you only seem to get the Lyrics option in the track details screen when that track has lyrics in the ID3v2 tag). So you don't get on-the-fly lookup on lyrdb, as it does in the squeezecenter web-interface (and where it works great, too). I installed it using the extension downloader from http://open-net.vm.bytemark.co.uk/lyrics_repo.xml Installed it in squeezecenter and restarted squeezecenter. Now it works in the web interface. To use it on the controller, on the controller main menu go into Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer. There you should see an entry like 'Display Lyrics [0.3]' Select the checkbox next to it and choose Install. Your controller will reboot and after that, find a track with lyrics in the tag, and go into the track details screen. There you should now have a Lyrics option. Good luck -- ghan http://last.fm/user/ghan64 ghan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19733 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58293 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

This is a standard SC feature that has nothing to do with the Lyrics plugin or applet.
