Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Hi Gordon, I am getting quite a few instances where I attempt to hibernate/shutdown to mysqueezebox and the reciever is not actually getting there leaving me with the player in limbo with the blue light on. How can i put the plugin to debug mode so I can investigate what is going on? Sleep monitoring with Hibernate to mySB.com doesn't work anymore after install of this build. This evening I'll set it to debug mode and post the logs. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9 beta for testing
I can confirm that 3.9 works very well. Except, I still have an issue with sometimes Sirius Radio, Slacker will stop streaming audio and give the error that I'm logged in somewhere else. I have to press Play to start the audio stream again. This started happening after I upgraded to Squeezebox Server. I dont know if this is a reproducible issue or not. This seems to happen even when I have one player defined under in http://www.mysqueezebox.com. I probably wont get a response, but is there anyone here at all that uses softsqueeze for Internet Radio? I'm curious to know if anyone is having the issue I described above; and, if there's a way to fix that. -- mkanet mkanet's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7965 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Cheers Stu First off, verify that you can switch the receiver to mysqueezebox the regular way...i.e. using the the SBC to push the receiver over. If you can't push it that way, SrvrPowerCtrl won't be able to either. But if a regular connection to mysqueezebox.com works, then I would try two things: In the SrvrPowerCtrl settings, try increasing the MySqueezebox.com Delay time (seconds) value in the Command Tweaks section. This allows the SBR to take more time to switch before the server shutsdown/hibernates. To turn on logging, in the web interface, go to Settings-Advanced-Logging and switch SrvrPowerCtrl to debug. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
rickwookie;493305 Wrote: Still won't shutdown after idle period. :-( Remember, if you've recently moved from SC 7.3.4 to SBS 7.4.x, you need to rerun the SrvrPowerCtrl setup scripts for your distro. See the help page off of the SrvrPowerCtrl settings page. Rerunning the setup scripts is necessary because the account under which SBS runs (squeezeboxserver) is different than that SC ran under (squeezecenter). Thus, new permissions have to be set in /etc/sudoers. The setup script accomplishes this. If, however, this isn't the source of the problem you're seeing, then please post logs. Thanks. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This morning I found my Boom still connected on the SB server instead of mySB.com and my notebook was still running, not hibenated. But there wasn't enough time to fiddle around with it because I had to go to work. Now I found some time to fix it. I had to do a total reset of the plugin configuration, now everything works again. I wondered why the shutdown time shutdown server in xxx was 15* minutes* instead of 15 *seconds*. This told me that there must be something wrong with the config. Everyone, we should suggest again this plugin as a recommended plugin (see the sticky on this forum). Neil has done a great job with all feature requests over multiple releases now. Speaking of which, we should also put our money where our mouth is. I just donated to Neil's paypal account, listed at the bottom of his google code page (http://code.google.com/p/xmradioplugin/).
