Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2010-06-29 Thread Cockeye

Hi Pippin - are you aware that it is not possible to set alarms on iPeng
using an iPhone 4 running OS4?

When you click on the alarm time instead of getting the scrolling
chooser it just acts like a text box and you can't change the time.

IPeng is my only paid for app that hasn't been updated (and I have a
lot). Do you have a timescale for a fix?

Many thanks in advance.

Yes, as mentioned above.
I'm working on the update but there are more things that need fixing,
Apple has changed more than this. Moving rows in Table Views, for
example, doesn't work as before.
Also, I want iPeng to work with Multitasking so that you might be able
to use other Apps (e.g. for playback) in the background :) )

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Prevent Last.fm Scrobbling Radio

2010-06-29 Thread markturnip

Firstly apologies if this post has already been made in the past, I
wasn't able to find anything that could help me.

I use Last.fm to scrobble tracks on my SqueezeBox, but also use it to
listen to music with. However sometimes Last.fm radio plays all sorts
of music I don't particularly like, but I just allow it to play in the
background. Also if someone else in my house starts listening to
something of their taste (on Last.fm).

The next time I go to play my Last.fm recommendations it starts playing
all sorts of music I don't like.

Simple answer to this would be to stop Last.fm radio scrobbling allow
only the tracks on my music collection to be scrobbled.

There is an option in the Last.fm plug in to avoid radio be scrobbled,
but this doesn't seem to include Last.fm radio...

Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Thanks!

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2010-06-29 Thread markturnip

This may sound like a strange question, but due to my set up I cannot
easily change servers.

I have Squeeze Server running on QNap, so am unable to use this plug
in.
However I don't want to install SqueezeServer on my computer for a
number of reasons.

Is there any way that the Spotify Core can sit on my computer the
plug in calls to it over the network? This would allow me to control
Spotify using QNap?

Can you enable player.source logging for the main server and prove it

the helper log which you don't see here.

Should be at the bottom in Triode's Squeezecentre Plugins (or
something like that) just above the repository box at the bottom. Do
you see that listed. If not did you paste in the url correctly (the
forum can corrupt the url so make sure you get the full version):

Question for people with large playlists and loss of information in the
playlist display - what's the largest size of your playlists?

[At present there is an internal server cache which is limited to 100
remote track entries which is shared between all things like player
playlists. As I put tracks into the normal server playlist, if the
playlist is more than 100 entries I start to loose information such as
titles etc. If there are multiple players each with their own playlist
then we can get to this point faster. I've realised I can resize the
server cache - but what's a reasonable maximum size for people?]

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Multi Library won't follow iTunes Symbolic Link

2010-06-29 Thread Sounder

Hi,

I run SBS 7.5 on OS X Leopard and I have all my CDs under the
/Users/Shared/My Music folder (which is also the folder that SBS points
to as the library folder) and all the iTunes stuff under
/Users/Shared/iTunes. Sometimes I want to browse the music downloaded
from iTunes and the standard Music Folder menu doesn't allow this. In
comes the Multi Library plugin.

I have created a symbolic link under My Music pointing to the iTunes
folder and used it's full path as the included folder when I create a
new library under Extras-Multi Library but it shows 0 songs in it. As
a test I changed the included folder to be full path/My Library/A-L
and it correctly includes all the songs under this folder. Any ideas
why it is not following the symbolic link to iTunes? Any other idea on
how to browse only music under the iTunes folder?

Regards,
