This guinea pig thought you had ignored that suggestion. It works, however if using browse by artist, the artist.jpg only displays if the Large Artwork option is selected, Man With Trumpet is displayed if the small artwork option is on. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
This doesn't always work. One of my problems is accented characters - for instance for artist Béla Fleck the plugin has stored "Béla Fleck.jpg" in my designated Artist Pictures folder. For artist Bartók, B the picture "Bartók, B.jpg" is ignored and Man With Trumpet is displayed There's one more workaround for this issue: drop a file called "artist.jpg" (this time literally: don't use the artist's name!) in one of the folders with tracks of this artist. Eg. if you have a folder "Béla Fleck/Whatever/" with some tracks, drop the artist.jpg file in there. It should be picked up during the next scan. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
If I check the image info of the Miloš Karadaglić artist artwork in the Home>Artists page (which appears correctly) I get http://192.168.0.107:9000/imageproxy/mai/artist/1400/image_50x50_o You have no idea how many hours I've been swearing about this kind of issues over the past years... I'll add another one or two as soon as I get to it. Could you who have issues with accented and other characters please let me know what operating system your LMS is running on, whether the files were edited on the same system or not (eg. LMS on NAS, editing on Windows), and how you transfer them when editing and LMS aren't on the same machine? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] CustomBrowse - not always loading track lists
I haven't done a whole lot of testing yet since I've only used it for an hour or so, but it's been behaving perfectly so far. Thanks for taking the time to work on this.
