Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: muso (production)
I am pleased to announce a beta release of Muso 2: http://klarita.net/musoSetup2000.msi This is rebuilt in .NET 4.0 (muso 1 was based on .NET 3.5) and so needs the .NET 4.0 runtime. It also uses a later version of the IE layout engine which allows me to take advantage of more advanced web styles in the content area. There may be a few layout issues while this is in Beta but when these are ironed out this will become the official stable version of Muso. Muso 2.x is a a separate installation product to Muso 1.x so you can have both installed side-by-side - however both use the same DB folders so cannot be run at the same time. When first running Muso 2 it should migrate your Muso 1 settings but thereafter will be maintained separately. 2.0.00 details: Conversion to .NET 4.0 Cleaner UI using IE9 rendering engine improved CSS styles Multi-line DB grid edit features: (a) search/replace (b) copy/swap columns Add subversion bindings to source -- muso developer jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81685 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If you slowly scroll through the albums library in iPeng you should be able to identify a candidate, should be one of the first 20 albums that don't have artwork. I tried your approach - scrolling through Albums looking for missing artwork. On checking these in MP3Tag, a pattern emerged. All missing artwork in iPeng, actually had at least 2 album arts reported within MP3Tag (1/2). The first image was 0b though, with no image shown. On deleting all these superfluous non-images, resulted in MP3Tag showing a album art correctly (1/1) - I have not crashed / paused the iPeng start up since. Interestingly, there were files which had 0b on images which MP3Tag reported as the second image (2/2) - but these did not seem to cause a problem with iPeng. I now have to understand exactly how these false images occurred - but I suspect it was one of the album art finder utilities somewhere along the line Does this seem reasonable? wliptrot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9842 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Why do you keep asking about 1 to 10 star ratings? Various people want lots of things which Pippin isn't going to provide. I had to turn displaying artwork off in Folder view mode because my server's nightly total rescan of the media files upsets iPeng. I just accepted Pippin wasn't going to fix this for me, since his view was that I shouldn't be doing a nightly full rescan (which I rejected). Your pestering is becoming tiresome. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Umm... there is a little difference: I CAN not fix your issue in the folder view. I only have the choice between the documented API, which allows me to show the artwork but causes your problems and the standard, server-provided menu which does not have artwork. In the end, that's a server problem. WRT the 10-step rating system I do consider it but it has kind of low priority since I also suspect follow-on requests causing more trouble (Why are my iTunes-Half-Star-Ratings not imported correctly? - Oh well, because that's how LMS works - OK, but then I have to take two stars off your App on the App Store). And no, I would not to the however-many-tap system because the rating stars are a slider, all I would do is introduce intermediate steps which might be a bit hard to hit right... --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 7, the Universal App for iOS 7* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'm kinda with Owen on this one, especially since there already is a way to rate tracks 1-10 in iPeng -- it's just not as convenient as you would like, but it certainly works. You acknowledged as much in 'post 5630' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?51929-iPeng-support-threadp=767646viewfull=1#post767646). If there weren't a way to use a 10 point scale for rating in iPeng, then I could see the validity of bringing of the issue every few (four to six) months, but given that there is I'd prefer to see Pippin focus on other more innovative features. And I'm speaking as someone who uses the 10 point scale and rates a lot of songs using iPeng. prabbit's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11142 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
