But, the volume set on the Onkyo will remain whatever was the volume when you were listening to music, so if this volume is too low for the TV input, then you'll have to manually adjust it, or ignore any LMS command and handle volume only with your remote Thanks for the reply. I had it set to 2 (only when playing), and when I switched to alternative source after playback the volume level on the Onkyo was set to zero. I've tried the other two settings but in doing so I seem to have regressed to my previous issue, where I can't play anything back at all on the Onkyo. Is there a recommended procedure for changing the parameters? What I currently do is: 1. Uncheck the Start the Bridge checkbox 2. Click Apply 3. Modify the parameter 4. Click Apply 5. Check the Start the Bridge checkbox 6. IIRC the current BBCiPlayer HLS plugin closes the stream if it gets a timeout and doesn't try to recover. If the Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (147) Error: Select task failed calling message appears when using the BBCiPlayer plugin playing a hLS stream - it is normal due to waythe plugin has implemented HLS. I think this is the fundamental issue: why does the BBC fail to respond and when this has happened on my system I have tried modifying the plugin to repeat the request but BBC doesn't respond and it still times out. I don't know if it is an implementation error in Plugin, DNS or BBC issue because I haven't had time to investigate in more detail and the problem will not reproduce on demand. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103797 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Google starts Google Cast for Audio
Is there any update on this? Somebody working on this? In my Opinion, Google Cast for Audio is the new must have for every audio-Device in home enterainment. Reasons: - You don't need an addon for every music service, since quiet every app will or already have integrated google cast in there apps. - You don't need to install an additional app to control your home-entertainment. Just press the cast-Button in your pre-installed app like Google Play Music. Well, these pros are already available with an iOS-device due to Airplay, which is the only reason i am jealous of Apple-geeks. madejackson's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64512 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102853 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
