Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
This thread has become very long and difficult to search through, so That's why I'll repeat myself and say it again: please open new threads for specific issues. I absolutely hate discussing dozens of issues in the same generic thread. after looking for 10 minutes I will ask a direct question: Is this message in my LMS server log anything to worry about? "[17-11-16 09:57:14.1610] Plugins::Spotty::Connect::_getCurlCmd (364) Didn't find the 'curl' utility. Please install curl using your package manager." I am not using the experimental connect feature. If you're running LMS on pCP, then no. If that's the only complaint about any missing tool, then neither. wget would be used instead. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I noticed it started skipping after I started a new listening session with connect, and with the skipping the progress bar in spotify stopped working. Stopping and starting LMS revived spotify connect and the spotify progress bar. Maybe an idea: What if the spotty connect exe is killed once the player is powered off and start spotty exe if the player is powered on. I don't see any .tmp*** in my TMPDIR ons MacOS The progress bar in Spotify (PC and IOS) isn't running (on LMS it runs). I'm sure I spotted a working spotify progress bar in the past. So I enabled connect on another player and disabled the other player and now I see the progress bar. No skipping for now. Spotify sees two LMS connect player. The other Spotty is still running. Since 1.9.7, I start a track (android - spotify connect) - it plays 5 seconds to 10, skips to the next track, keeps playing but indicates on android as "stopped" as soon as it skips.
