You will also notice that if you put the mini-browser close the the right hand side of a monitor, when you change the size, it will expand/contract leftward so as to keep the right edge the same distance from the edge. Yes, it would be nice if SLX remembered the mini-browser location in between sessions like it does the main browser. Right now, it only remembers until you exit the app. That is on my to-do list. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
Heads up, I've uploaded 1.3.13 to fix a bug I introduced (or was always there) with work on the mini-browser. It goes like this... The browser code runs in a different thread than the main app, so shutting down the application properly is a little tricky in the code. The bug occurs occasionally on shutdown if you select Exit while the mini-browser is open. The bug occurs infrequently, but it can happen. You likely do not notice it, since the application shuts down anyway, though you can see the an error occurred in the event log. 1.3.13 attempts to fix this. As always, it takes 1-3 days before you'll see the update in the store. I used to make it work in raspbian by editing the fstab file. And I have to be able to set an option that the pi knows to wait for the network shares to initialise. Could be done with raspi-config I think. But osmc gives me the warning that it needs to be done in 'My osmc'. I guess that's in the Kodi interface? But I will look into that tomorrow. I disabled PCM and FLAC for spotty in advanced settings, so now it only uses mp3 recoding. I realized, that my wireless network is pretty weak at 2.4 GHz, so sometimes only very slow wireless between pi and touch or radio (router says 6 mbps). Streaming mp3 needs less bandwidth. Could that have been the cause for the crashes? Also, I tried out the spotify app on windows and on iOS to control both touch and radio.
