Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS and Spotty Connect!!! Awesome but...

2018-09-20 Thread Michael Herger

The right, yes, but not with plugin.spotty set to anything. There's only
one single message for the past days. And that's 'Authentication failed
with reason: BadCredentials'. Please

- enable INFO logging for plugin.spotty
- remove credentials from Settings/Advanced/Spotty
- re-add credentials from that same page
- provide log file

Resent log per your instructions. If this doesn't work I might need a
little more detail info on how to enable logging... below is what did.
Not sure if that is right.

Opened LMS
Went to advanced/advanced settings
pluggins
Spotify
settings under spotify
drop down on left I clicked logging
under logging I set server
then zipped media server log file.

But that's not what I asked you to do (and doesn't really make sense
either...) :-). Your log file has no new entries other than the server
restart...

- in LMS go to Settings/Advanced/Logging
- scroll down to plugin.spotty
- set value for plugin.spotty to INFO
- go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty
- remove the existing credentials
- re-add your credentials as per instructions on that page
- once done go to Logging again to grab the log file

I think HLS is likely as it is not that hard to implement and there are
a number of broadcast streams as well.

What puzzle me is the Touch/Radio BBCiPlayer Applet plays programs and
it doesn't have HLS or DASH only Flash/AAC which I somehow thought BBC
had removed.

It might have been for Grace Digital.
Should get a better idea on Monday if the On Demand programmes reappear

I know a couple of the Reciva guys in Cambridge who work for Qualcomm. I
said something about Dash a year or two ago (I forget when) and he was
very surprised to hear that LMS iPlayer plugin supported it. He quizzed
me about the technical details which I know nothing about, I just told
him it's all open source so go and look at it if you can read perl and
emailed a link to the announce thread on here. I have no idea if they
ever had a look or did any Dash work.

The TrayMenu Help (click on the blue "?") shows all the shortcuts.

25680

Here is an example of how I use them:

25681

I guess there are a few undocumented (experimental) things, which I
didn't include in the help because I am not sure I will keep them:

@APPLOG, which just brings up the application log
@SLX_SETTINGS, opens SLX and switches to Settings tab
@MAIN_BROWSER, opens SLX and switches to Browser tab
@VOL_UP, increments volume
@VOL_DOWN, decrements volume
'*', if you precede a tray menu link with *, then if you click on a new
song tray notification, that link will be executed.

On Sourceforge, just pick the file with the correct architecture. In
your case this is x86_64. Synology changed their package names:
Cedarview is now called x86_64. So, the package name on Sourceforge
you're looking for is called->
LogitechMediaServer-*x86_64*-7.9.2-168.*0012*.spk (where 0012 is the

Search term and position in the returned list if possible.

Hi,
just wanted to add that I also started to experience interruptions on
99/100 tracks every seven seconds (+/-) recently. However I understand
that philippe_44 is busy at the moment and thus unable to spare time
(and/or his nerves :-)) on Youtube changing APIs big style to promote
their Youtube Music service ... :-/
**IF** philippe_44 would at some time in the future find the time (and
nerves :-)) to keep the Plugin running I would be most grateful, let's
keep up the hope and - of course - thank him for his work so far!
Best regards from Vienna/ Austria,
Wolfgang

Another update is on its way which should fix Die Ärzte. Don't know
about Cyrillic... (and it fixes another issue which was actually
breaking search all together under some circumstances).

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)

2018-09-20 Thread Rheinlnder

Hi Philippe,
do you see a chance for your plugin to support a HomePod stereo setup
(i.e. 2 Homepods connected in stereo mode to act as one device)?
That would be awesome.
What are your thoughts?

Rheinländer

Hmm... I don't have any artist with a non-latin character as the first
character. Would Ärzte find nothing, or just not the album? Would it
find the artist itself?
