However, it always bothered me that then just audio was streamed. In contrast to this the webstream or normal FM radio always contains nice artist and title information. Sometimes there is also information about the currently running show. At least the German and Swiss DVB-S programs transport some broadcast information this way which is then comfortably shown on the display of the squeezeboxes. The nice thing about my little program is that Shoutcast works with many other streaming clients as well and the implemenation is "standalone" and independent. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: ts2shout - DVB-S/C MPEG-TS to Shoutcast/Squeezebox stream converter
Hi - This looks really neat and I used to use something similar to stream from DVB-T in the UK. The one thing that slightly puzzles me given that you're using TVHeadend to provide some of the info is why you don't simply use TVHeadend to do the heavy lifting and stream directly from it? I switched over to this method (and mothballed my TS->Shoutcast deamon) when I hooked my DVB-T dongle onto a Libreelec / TVHeadend config and it seems to work very well. The only thing missing is full EIT Programme info which the old method provided, but I can live without that given the simplicity. The key config items are: 1) An LMS Favourites URL in the form (to stream from my TVHeadend radio channel 704): http://libreelec:9981/stream/channelnumber/704?profile=mp2 2) A matching TVHeadend Stream profile of: 29640 Apologies if this won't work for some reason with your DVB-S / DVB-C services for some reason... Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Looks like it does get the track details from TuneIn ... I managed to find a station (Hippie Soul Cafe) that has track info in the stream (from Icecast in this case) but does not send track info to TuneIn ... and Nest/Google Home Mini does not see it. Ah well Looks like I'll have to try to persuade Radio France to post the live track info to TuneIn. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
First of all, many thanks for this brilliant plug-in, Philippe! I am using it to connect a couple of Zeppelin Air devices to the LMS running on a small Windows 2012 Essential server. The Zeppelins are very fine acoustically but sometimes need to be reconnected after powered off (from mains). After reconnecting however, the volume is set initially to max which can be annoying considering the output power they have. I checked the configuration file and under the volume management section there is the Default parameter (for setting the initial value on connection to a player) that is currently set to "-1" to ignore. The Mode parameter is set to "hardware". If I am to adjust the Default parameter should the value to set the minimal level be "-30" (AirPlay value) or "1" (LMS value)? nemos58's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69923 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

All alarms, or individual? 1.4.5 has a bug where the 'Enable alarms' toggle only really works if you click the text not on the switch itself. Fixed for 1.5.0 Also, long-press on 'Show extra settings' will bring up the LMS player settings with all sections available. (If you click, or short press, some sections are hidden to prevent duplicate options) castalla wrote: > > (The start player menu option is nice (but SB Player is also a bit > non-transparent for me as a basic user - if only other players could be > selected) To start a player I just need to know the android "intent" - which I only know for SB Player. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I've been trying Material on my PC desktop and on android - excellent! I have many questions about the various configurations (!) but have figured out most of them by trial & error. However, one setting which totally defeats me is the Alarms on.off. I always set it to off, but it always resets to on ... Advice please ... ?
