Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I discovered this one on my own today using my Surface Go. The Surface has some sort of new way of going to sleep that does not notify the app called Connected Sleep or Modern Sleep. Judging from your log it looks same as what I am seeing. Appears to not work with my Telnet Connection. LMS or something terminates the telnet link (rest by peer) when it happens, and for some reason I cant simply reconnect when the connection is reset by peer. I am supposed to be able to call a registration function in Windows that will cause SLX to get the notification, even when the device is configured for connected sleep. So I think I know what it is and how to fix it. The only way to get apps on my Surface Go is to do it through the store, so trying anything out takes half a day. Im working on it. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I am seeing Squeezelite-X randomly disconnect - show a yellow warning triangle and a greyed out icon. On opening the app it says it cannot telnet to the LMS server. It keeps trying but does not connect. When I exit the app I Get an application error - I can then launch the app and it connects with no problem. I have attached both the Application exception(S) and a snippet of the slx log showing a successful load and initial running and the time when it disconnects. This has happened on 2.6.13 and 2.6.14 I hope you can shed some light on what it happening here. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: ShairTunes Plugin
Hello, My ShairTunes 2 plugin has been working for over a year since I first installed it. About 2 weeks ago, I installed the Airplay Bridge plugin because a device I bought had airplay and I wanted to use LMS to stream to it. Long story short, I ended up not liking the device and returned it, but somehow since I installed the Airplay Bridge plugin, ShariTunes 2 has stopped working. I have tried everything, I have uninstalled Airplay Bridge; reinstalled LMS and finally even deleted LMS completely from the server and re-installed it. The behavior I am experiencing is the players are listed as airplay destinations on the menu in my iMac, for instance, however when I select one, no sound makes it to the speakers. Needless to say, the players work when fed from the LMS natively. I would really appreciate any advice on how to get this working again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Seeking in tracks from Qobuz works fine with my Boom - at least if i control it with the web interface or iPeng / Squeezeplay etc. But i noticed that seeking does not work when i use the buttons on the device or the remote. I usually don't control the Boom with its buttons because it's hidden under a desk, but i just looked it up in the manual and sure enough: A long press on the "<<" or ">>" buttons should seek in track. But at least in my installation it doesn't (or i am to stupid to press a button...). Neither for remote tracks or local tracks. I tried mp3's and flacs, on a 8.0 and 7.9 server. With "listen 1" i see commands like Code: 00%%%%% ir 7689a05f 50725.101 when long pressing the buttons, but they don't do anything. Previous track / Next track work fine. But this could of courde be a hickup of my installation - as i said: I have rarely ever used the controls on the Boom. sternenjaeger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57562 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Anyone have any experience with using this bridge with the AppleTV app on a Samsung TV? Just got a new TV, and my iPhones and PC's/MacBooks with iTunes all "see" the Samsung TV as an available streaming device and play to it flawlessly, but the AirPlay Bridge is not detecting it. I've tried restarting the server and the bridge as well as re-generating a prefs file, to no avail. Additionally, all my other AirPlay speakers are still detected and playing fine, so the bridge is functioning. I've confirmed via the IP address on the TV that its on the same network. Would appreciate any ideas on whether this SHOULD work before I spend too much time, and if so, maybe where to start troubleshooting? I haven't used the radio shark plugin since I posted last. Instead I've using a script that the pcp-streamer extension is based on to stream from the radio shark. The shark and shark2 programs only compile with specific versions of libhid and libusb. Since I had the library sources handy I've built a pcp-radioshark.tcz extension for pcp 6.0 which includes both programs. You can install it from the picoreplayer web gui main page extensions. That is not satisfying, I have to set the rights for this path every time I restart the Pi because they are set back. Or do you know a better way to load them? (It was different in pCP 5.0, there was a folder www in the path of tc where SDT could load them without problems. With a Touch or the Radio it is easy, you put them in the plugin folder, use the applet path and forget about it.) 2xPi3-7"+pCP+LMS 7.9.2 | Transporter | 2xTouch | 2xClassic | 2xBoom | 2xRadio | iPeng | [2xOdroid U3+m2p+LMS] bluetdi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20633 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112122 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SharkPlay plugin - radioSHARK player
after a brief reading on internet. One way is to compile the old libhid package. But i did;nt have any success to do that on raspbian buster. On pcp repository yoy can find the libusb package. I have understand that both packages are required to build shark2.c, is that correct? ditheo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70066 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54926 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] LMS-lite certified Smart Home skill for Alexa
There's actually no reason why LMS-Lite could not be posted to the Amazon.de store for accessibility in the DACH countries. All that's needed is to have the skill store description available in German, plus a concise version of the setup help for configuring ngrok. Anybody interested in helping out with translating? The original *help text* in English is at https://smartskills.tech/lmslitesetup/DE/. That's less critical because it will not be scrutinised by Amazon but it is still needed. The *skill store description* is as follows: Smart Home control paradigm for Logitech Media Server and Squeezebox media players. This non-affiliated skill implements all the Logitech Media Server commands that can currently be addressed in a Smart Home skill type, and as such is a lite version of our more full-function 'MediaServer' skill. The possibilities include: Powering on/off players (turn on, turn off). Setting volume level, either directly or as an increment/decrement (set/increase/decrease volume to/by). Player mute/unmute. Transport commands (play/resume, pause, stop, next, previous, and start-over). Direct track-index selection (set track to..). Setting and querying shuffle and repeat/loop modes (off, song, album). Your players appear in the Alexa app and can be included in smart home device-groups and in routines so that e.g. your Squeezebox and Amplifier can be powered on/off together. Players can also be renamed or deleted within the Alexa app. Prerequisites: To use the skill, you will need to have (1) a self-hosted instance of Logitech Media Server which *must* be remotely-accessible via https, and (2) one or more hardware or software Squeezebox/Transporter players. Instructions on setting up the connectivity details of LMS for purposes of account linking can be found at https://smartskills.tech/lmslitesetup/DE;, Example phrases (need to reflect the actual Alexa phrases used in German !!) "Alexa, set Transporter volume to 60.", "Alexa, pause Touch.", "Alexa, turn off Boom." ditheo wrote: > on raspbian is 4.19.114.v7+ and is raspbian buster.] > > libusb is both on raspbian and picoreplayer avaiable. I give a try again > on picorerplayer with libhidapi . No point - the source code of shark2 needs to be changed significantly to work with either libusb or libhidapi. In Greece radio streams are in a poor format only. It is better to listen to FM radio. Also is a must on cars when you are driving to places with poor coverage of mobile cells. OK - if you can confirm that either libusb or libhidapi is available for the LMS OS server - probably the raspbian as I don't see them in the pcp tcz repository ( http://picoreplayer.sourceforge.net/tcz_repo/8.x/armv7/tcz/ ) bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54926 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Ade_AV wrote: > Hi, is there any way to use Album Artist instead of track Artist to get > the default Biography? For 1.5.9, if biography lookup fails using artistname/id, then Material will retry with albumartist/id - but only if albumartst is within artist. e.g. artist="Wibble ft. Wobble" albumartist="Wibble" This is to prevent using albumartist when it is "Variious Artists", etc. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
