One moment I got a full listing of today's Radio 4 listings, half an hour later some are missing. That might point to some issues in the "replication across servers" department. But no point in second guessing until settled down. mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If you don't mind changing your habit a tiny little bit, you could add ("Append to queue") that news radio stream to your queue instead of replacing it. Then you could just use the "back" button to get back to the other stream. However, the position is not saved if you were listening to a podcast. kidhazy wrote: > I'm not entirely sure where this all just went :eek: :D QLMS 8.0.0@2.20 x64 (digimaster) with perl 5.30.1 / QNAP 469L QTS 4.3.4 dolodobendan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67663 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112475 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Coupled with the fact some playlist parsing has broken - IIRC playlist JSON is used by BBC website. It seems something in BBC has been changed perhaps erroneously - so once either playlist.json is fixed or web site is fixed and I know what is definitively the "new" process - there is no point in patching as it will end up with confusion. I'm guessing a bad update has happened and it will be rolled back. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

You should be on 1.6.9 but if you are still on 1.6.7 I think Listen again should still give a list of programs. The error you are getting has changed. Previously you got below - which means the XML URL e.g. 6music.xml has been accessed, processed by BBCiPlayer plugin and a program found. Then plugin finds the playlist.json JSON URL to look for the program. The "bad file descriptor" & timeout is for a specific program low level error . Code: Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (339) Error: getting http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00082jh/playlist.json Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor Now error is Code: Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (339) Error http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/availability/6music.xml No "bad file descriptor" ? This is a top level error accessing the XML feed. This happens before LMS has determined to pass control to the BBCiPlayer plugin. Can you give full log entry for this error. Are you using a Favorite ? For testing you must use the BBC iPlayer plugin menus Have you customised the BBCiPlayer menus or menu.opml file ? bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Locate LMS Cache directory see WebUI Settings/Information - Cache folder. 2. Stop LMS & Delete all file beginning with cache.db in Cache folder - typically cache.db, cache.db-shm, cache.db-wal 3. Shutdown & Reboot MAC & LMS bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I have installed Net::SSLeay and IO::Socket::SSL, now on IO::Socket::SSL: 2.068 but still the same error: Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (339) Error: getting http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/availability/6music.xml nig27's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69390 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)

Actually, I had been struggling as well with a Kodi installation on an Android TV-box, which runs an Airplay interface. Changing to "Encryption = yes" did the trick also here, so that I can now use it as an LMS player. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
Thanks both. Yes bpa, I had installed perl 5.30.1 on the mac os x 10.8.5 partition of the hard disc, but never got LMS to find it. I decided to start from scratch on the mac os x 10.11.6 partition. I will update IO::Socket::SSL stuff as per Michael's recommendation. nig27's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69390 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
