I'm on the latest community LMS version 8.3.0. I will check if the SSL certificates point might be a possible fix today (I've had guests here so haven't had a chance yet). More later. I found some conversations on Netgear's ReadyNAS forum about updating SSL, but this seemed to cause compatibility problems with LMS. But another area I will look at is SSL certificates, as I have seen that an expired certificate might also cause the problem I am experiencing. I will report back if I find a solution. Thanks again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : Global Player (UK) Plugin (Classic FM, Capital, Smooth, Heart, LBC etc.)
I wonder if you can help a relative novice get Global Player plug-in to work (v1.1.0). I installed it about 1 week ago, but I always get "Connect Timed Out" when I select any of the 4 options: Radio, Catch Up, Playlists, Podcasts. I haven't managed to get it working at all so far. BBC Sounds, Spotty and works fine, and I can access Classic FM on Squeezebox via http://media-ice.musicradio.com/ClassicFMMP3 I am on the latest community release of LMS running on a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra4 Plus with various client devices Touch, Boom, Radio and Receiver. I've set streaming mode in settings/advanced/network to cache to disk. Can you help? It would be great if there is something obvious that I should have done, but I can't work out what. many thanks Byron Server Details: Logitech Media Server Version: 8.3.0 - 1667251155 @ Fri 04 Nov 2022 09:14:25 AM CET Hostname: ReadyNAS-U4P Server IP Address: 192.168.0.191 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux Perl Version: 5.20.2 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.002 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Total Players Recognized: 5 Byron's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40796 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114305 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
