No matter what I try I can't seem to get rid of the multi-second delay when I sync my Zipp 2 wiith my other Touch and Boom. The Zipp 2 uses Airplay 2. The Boom and Touch sync fine. Any tips on what I should tweak to get rid of the delay. I'm using Squeeze Ctrl on my Samsung s10 to control all my SB devices including the Zipp. I can't see much I can tweak in Squeeze Ctrl, so I guess I should try the settings in the airplay pluggin on LMS. Tried a view numbers between 0-100 but nothing seems to stop the Liberatone Zipp 2 coming on at 100% volume after turning it on from off or from sleep mode. Must be an issue with Zipps as this seems a pretty common issue from the posts I've seen. Indeed, it would be good to know if there is someone who *doesn't* have this issue with the Zipp 1 or 2. I have a pretty similar problem. The Zipp 2 always comes on at 100% volume after it has been asleep for a while or off. Just activated the Airplay bridge to stream to my Liberatone Zipp 2. All seems fairly OK. Just a few glitches that I've read about above such as occasional max vol on commencement. But everytime I start or restart LMS I get the message in the pic below. 27652 I'm running 7.9.1 but this issue occurs on even the most recent versions. I haven't tweaked the parameters of the airplay plugin in LMS simply generated a config file and ticked the activate box. OK. My Zipp 2 with airplay 2 (and hopefully compatible with airplay 1) arrived. Now how to stream music via LMS to it? In the attachment you can see I have activated the airplay plugin and generated a config file with the Zipp 2. Now what should I expect? I'm hoping the Zipp 2 will show up a squeezebox player in Squeeze Ctrl on my phone. Is this all wrong? What am I missing? I currently use my phone and Squeeze Ctrl to access and control my Touch and Boom, and I use SB Player to access LMS running on my computer and send music to my UE Boom bluetooth speaker via my phone. Is it simply a replacement for the appearance of the squeeze controller app or equivalent on one's mobile, or for squeezelite on a computer or does it has some other functionality of which I am not aware and which could be useful. I'm sure the answer is buried deep in this thread, but how does one save a whole album instead of just the current track playing to favourites. Is this even possible? Yes, I was using and older version of LMS. On updating to 7.9 almost all the issues have been solved. At the moment, those cue files I can't load directly, I load by addiing to a playlist and then clear the playlist before loading the next cue file. A bit clumsy but it works. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Can't play many cue files with Squeeze Ctrl
I've just downloaded Squeeze Ctrl for my android phone (Nexus 5) after having used the Logitech ap (until it failed to work anymore) and then Squeezer (which worked fine, even with all the cue files I could throw at it). But I can't get many cue files to open with Squeeze Ctrl and I can't figure out why. The ap won't even play the large flac files. It will play some cue files, just not all of them, Obviously the ap can play these files so what going wrong. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the way the relevant cue files and flac files are named because I have a huge collection, rather haphazardly named and tagged, and lots of cue files are affected.
