I've been having the same issue. I prefer to use the Spotify app on my Android phone rather than Spotty via Squeezer, as the Spotify app is much easier to navigate and search from. Music will play for several tracks but then it just stops. It's the same when using Spotify Connect from my laptop. piguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68992 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111551 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty really slow...
Success! My test results... 1. When pCP is already selected as a device in the Android Spotify app: - A random track starts playing after 4 seconds - Skipping tracks also takes 4 seconds 2. When a track is playing through my phone's speakers and I switch to pCP in the Spotify app: - Track continues playing after 9 seconds Thank you for your patience and support, Michael. Spotty is excellent now! :D Cheers piguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68992 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110257 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I suppose the LMS cache lives on the SD card (?), as I haven't changed the default cache settings or set up a connection to my Synology NAS yet. The card is the default one that came shipped with the rpi 3B+ from IQAudio (SanDisk 16GB) - http://iqaudio.co.uk/raspberry-pi/65-sd-card-16gb.html Cheers piguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68992 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110257 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

slartibartfast wrote: > Can you give an example of the problem you are seeing? > > Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Hi slartibartfast, It takes about 30 seconds for a track to start playing when played via the Spotify app on Android. This is roughly the same whether played through wired gigabit or wireless (I've tested both 2.4 and 5GHz). If I skip a track via the app, it takes 12-15 seconds to start playing. Pausing a track is almost instant. Thanks Michael, I understand Can you speculate as to what might be the cause of the potential network issue? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty really slow...
Hi all, I'm currently running a rpi 3B+ with pCP 4.1.0, LMS 7.9.2 and Spotty 2.7.4 - but it is painfully slow when playing Spotify via Android app (Spotify Connect) I'm experiencing the same issues as detailed in this thread: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108789-Spotty-on-Rpi3-Very-slow My rpi is wired gigabit to the router Has anyone got a solution? It seems I'm not the only one struggling Cheers piguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68992 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110257 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
