I have been lucky here before and so I try again :-) : I have updated my Logitech Media Servers to 7.7.1 and then 7.7.2. Unfortunately, in both versions the Meteo Plugin doesn't seem to work anymore and this on both Windows 7 and my Linux NAS. The Meteo menu still appears but when an item is selected (e.g. 'Allgemeine Lage') at best a few characters are shown (e.g. 'adeb721e'). Hi again, I finally found the time to install the Meteo plugin on my NAS as well. It's a Synology DS508. Synology actually offers SqueezeboxServer packages for installation but they don't keep it very well up to date. I think the current version is still at 7.3.3. When the Meteo plugin stopped working, I switched to the SSODS, thinking I could maybe fix the problem by updating SqueezeboxServer. Unfortunatley, the DS508 has a PowerPC processor and the SSODS project has stopped supporting this architecture. The last SqueezeboxServer version to run on the SSODS/DS508 is 7.5.1 (...which is still newer than 7.3.3 ;-) ) but the update did not help. Anyway, I have now copied the Meteo 2.7.3 onto my NAS with SSODS and SqueezeboxServer 7.5.1 and it works BEAUTIFULLY there too. I am delighted :-) ! It seems you did a thorough job ! Thanks again! Once I am stealing your time again (sorry about it), I have two more minor things: 1) Is it right that the weather forecast is available in the 'EXTRA' menu on the Boom, Duet and Squeezebox 3 but not on the Touch ? (or is there something one could configure?) ? 2) While I was trying the Meteo plugin with SqueezeboxServer 7.7.0 (r33563), I noticed that there was a problem with the library scan. There were errors in the logs and - more important - after the scan had ended, e.g. albums titles and artists were listed but I could not browse trough my Music directory - it was 'Empty'. I have tried with the S3, Boom, Duet, Touch and Softsqueeze - with 7.6.1 they all show the same behaviour: when I access the Extra-Weatherforecast Switzerland... it informs 'Collecting data...' and stays there. I have uninstalled 7.6.1 and installed 7.7.0 (33563). I seem to have 'lost' the 'Extra' menu on all players except the S3 and Softsqueeze (..is it in a different place now ? I will search later...). Oh, did you update from a SBS 7.5? Just found the following line in my changelog: # 2.7.2 - use LWP::UserAgent instead of S::P::Protocols::HTTP for 7.5 compatibility Alas - I never released 2.7.2 to the public. Might show how popular it is :-). S::P::Protocols::HTTP is exactly where your problem occurs. I'm going to release 2.7.3 in a few minutes. Your the man - great ! :-) Thank you very much - it's much better now. Funny, it does not yet properly update the forecast textthe info is still in French although I even switched from German to English and back (..the menus change the language correctly). I remember having had this before and after a day or two it corrected itself without doing anything. I doubt that this really shows how popular your plugin is: I for one downgraded several times my Squeezebox Server ONLY because METEO did not run anymore :-). As I usually run the server on a Linux-NAS (btw, the MCPAN seemed to work there as well), I suspected the problem came from the OS. That's why I finally tried on my W7 laptop (I will have to retry on my NAS as soon as time allows...). METEO is definitively my favorite plugin (...and I am very sorry for the rest of the world who cannot access well localised weather forecast ;-) ). Thanks again ! Hi all, I have just installed Squeezebox Server 7.6.1 on my Windows 7. Unfortunately the Meteo (Weatherforecast Switzerland) plugin doesn't work. It seems to be properly installed and also the MCPAN module. The Plugin appears unter EXTRAS as usual but when I click on 'Allgemeine Lage', 'Regionen' or 'Orte', nothing happens. I tried in vain to launch Squeezebox Server as Admininstrator and in XP3 mode. Can anybody help ?
