You've nailed my problems pretty well. Each time I Clear Library and Rescan in v7.4.0 isome/i albums show up duplicated. Take Steely Dan: I have 12 albums ripped, yet now I have each of them twice (except a No Album which doesn't duplicate -- BUT the songs in the album DO duplicate.) [UPDATE] Umm, it looks like I caused my own problems: I'm not sure why or when I would have done this but inside the Music/iTunes/ folder is the iTunes Music folder. AND there was an iTunes Music alias folder pointing to the original. Since my SBS was set to scan the folder iTunes it scanned the music folder and then the alias, thereby duplicating everything. I'm not certain that I created the alias. Perhaps a 3rd party application would have for some reason. Deleting it fixed the duplication. Likewise you could point the SBS to iTunes Music but I keep a FLAC folder in the 'iTunes' folder so they are picked up by SBS. -- kphinney *-Hopefully a new trend:*- I'm not endorsing or advertising any of my gear, nor flaunting it as an Audiophile setup. It's Composers which multiplies - each time I rescan I get another copy (I'm up to 4 now!). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Multiple library entries with SBS 7.4
Since installing 7.4, when I do a rescan (clear library rescan everything) I get multiple library entries. i.e. each rescan adds a repeat entry for each item. It may be a Custombrowse problem since it only happens with my classical music custom menus. Any help appreciated. Feel free to direct me to a relevant thread. I'm using: CustomBrowse 2.9, CustomScan 2.1, Multilibrary 2.4.
