command to make it available as LPT. If you don't have a network, you

You can run a dos batch file.
I don't remember the specifics, but its something like

LPT1: COM1 (substitute whatever port is assigned to the USB port to see if
it will work. I believe the dos command instructions are under redirect or
something like that..

I'm a bit confused here but I assume you mean the printer is on USB but
since there are no LPT ports you don't have the option to redirect one?

You can create an LPT port - go to control panel \ Printers and add a
printer. Select local printer and in select printer port then use the
add a port option.

Then share the printer and capture LPT2 to it. THen print to LPT2 from
the app.

How to print in FP 2.6 if there is no LPT1?

2006-12-20 Thread D C Jariwala
How can I print from FP 2.6 DOS application which is working on laptop which
does not have any LPT1?

If there is LPT1 in a laptop, I can direct it to USB.

In FP 2.6, printing is directed to LPT. But there is no LPT in laptop.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Devendra
