Check your .qgis2\python\plugins folder. If there's a "processing"
folder there it should be deleted.

[Qgis-user] 2.18.0: Dissolve doesn't allow multiple fields

2016-11-24 Thread mvr

Hi all,

the changelog for 2.18 says that the processing dissolve algorithm now
allows multiple unique fields
(http://qgis.org/de/site/forusers/visualchangelog218/index.html#feature-processing-dissolve-algorithm-accepts-multiple-fields).
I just downloaded and installed the 2.18 version and removed the old
versions, but the dissolve tool looks the same as before - only one
unique ID field can be chosen. Are there some files from the older
QGIS-versions which haven't been removed and now the new tool can't
load? Or what else can cause this problem?

Thanks for help!

Re: [Qgis-user] Editing and saving raster metadata

Thank you very much Paolo.
I will try the plugins immediately, but I believe that it could be better
if changes in metadata would be attainable and savable directly via the
layer metadata sheet.
May I suggest this to the developer?

Cheers

Se alludi a "Show feature count" del menu contestuale, *non* confermo il
problema (appena testato su una shape da 47mila poligoni, con la 2.18.0
sotto Win7_x64).

2016-11-24 Thread Bernhard Ströbl

Hi,

I have some 150 users here connecting to PostGIS and did never have any
such problems (Umlaute are allowed), I suspect an encoding problem
(different encodings in QGIS and PostGIS)

Hi all,

I getting an error message in QGIS 2.14 - 2.18 when I trying to login to
a PostgreSQL db with passwords containing german umlauts (ü, ä, ö,) or
special characters (e.g. €):

Connection to database failed

FATAL: Passwort-Authentifizierung für Benutzer »timo« fehlgeschlagen

The Login into the webinterface phpPgAdmin works without any problems.
Is there a solution for my error message or are only ascii characters in
passwords supported in QGIS?

Regards

Timo

Cari saluti
