Re: [QUAD-L] Affording things/Linda
I did mention to my regular nurse that maybe she could mix the drug before she left I could change out the bag for that one time at night when no one is here. She wouldn't agree to do it that way. Talked the doc into waiting until 01/09 my next appt to do another culture make the decision then. But same goes - fever = hospital immediately. KK Did you hear about the dyslexic satanist? Re: [QUAD-L] Affording things/Linda
Hi, KK, you mentioned in an earlier email you need 7 weeks of antibiotics ? is this for a special condition ? I have had 3 serious urinary infections that required IV drugs , 3 seperate times in the past , and each time it only required about 5 days of IV drugs. Hope you get better soon ! Dan H. [QUAD-L] Fwd: WHAT A MISERABLE LIFE!
Naomi **See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop000304) inline: god%20bless%20you%20picture.jpg---BeginMessage--- WHAT A MISERABLE LIFE! And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and His anger was kindled;. Numbers 11:1a What a miserable life! I don't like to get up when the alarm goes off. My children take too long to get ready for school. They make so much noise and I wonder why 'they can't do better and they just don't listen.' I wish my spouse would think like me. Why do I have to go to work, and why do I have to clean the yard, wash the dishes, wash the clothes and vacuum the carpet? I'm sick and tired of picking up behind everyone and tired of cooking when I don't feel like it! I'm not thankful for my life. I don't like my weight and I'm not very fond of the clothes I wear. My hair is not doing what I want it to do, and my shoes hurt my feet. I surely don't feel like going to the market today, standing in line after working all day long. Why isn't this house big enough to have some privacy. Why is this house so big; it is too much to keep clean. My church is so big I feel lost in it. My church is so small everyone knows your business. Why do I have to get up on Sunday morning anyway to go to church when that is the only day I have to rest? Why is my money so low? I work and try to keep the bills paid, but the more I work, the more bills we accumulate. Why do people always call me when I'm busy? I don't have time to talk on the phone. And why is everyone so needy? There is always somebody asking me to do something. I'm not thankful for my life! Why doesn't God answer my prayer? I have been praying for the same things for years and it seems like He is not listening. Can't He see what I am going through? Doesn't He care what I am facing? What kind of life is this? I used to think and speak all of these complaints, until me spouse left, one child died and the others moved away. I lost my job, and the people who used to 'bug' me with their calls, stopped calling. As I sit in this nursing home, I often think about how wonderful it was to clean up after my family; how nice it was to have an opportunity to watch my children go through their many stages. I often think about how good it was that I was able to go to work everyday and make money to pay the bills; it was good that I was able to cook for a family who would sit and enjoy the meals that I prepared for them. I remember how I was able to go to church and hear the choir, listen to the Word and feel the love of those who wanted to know how I was doing. I reminisce about how people would call on me for help and how purposeful my life was. I recall the time when I had hair and I was actually able to comb it. Wow those were the days. I wish I had known then how blessed I was. I wish I had been thankful then for what I have now lost. What a shame it is to have so much, but not realize it until it is all gone! What a wonderful life! Whatever you are complaining about, there is always someone who would switch places with you! In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Re: [QUAD-L] Affording things/Linda
Well the agency that provides the nurse dropped me today because of non compliance with doc orders. Since the doc has agreed with everything I have done, don't really see their reasoning. KK Did you hear about the dyslexic satanist? He worshiped Santa.
Re: [QUAD-L] Affording things/Linda
It is strange how they insist on spending tons more money. Go to the hospital. you should be there during strong anti biotic treatments anyway. I'm not sure what you'll be taking, but at least make sure your doctor has a list of what you need when you play three stooges camps out at the hospital. Re: [QUAD-L] Don't Park In The Handicap Spot
I love this persons reply from the site: -- - The whole point of a gimp spot is so that someone who uses a wheelchair can get the damn thing out of the car/van/truck,THAT’S what the extra (cross-hatched)space is FOR,particularly someone with a lift who can’t get out otherwise and would get blocked in without that extra space being respected.I can’t count how many time some asshole has parked on the cross-hatching making impossible for me to get back into my car (without getting someone to move it or waiting for the asshole). They always reply the same way,no apology just some lame excuse. The same one I hear when I have to wait outside a larger stall in an airport shitter for the guy to wipe his ass mid-turd because I pounded on his door saying “you better be in a wheelchair!” . I always asks “do you know why they build this bigger stall?” they never answer the question and rarely apologize, way too many actually get mad. Back to parking spots,I think people who need a van with a lift or ramp or extra space for a WHEELCHAIR would love a spot at the far end of the parking lot that the lazy,”sore-toes” or lazy sore-toes wouldn’t use leaving them open for people who actually NEED them. To answer the people that think there are too many spots that nobody ever uses which makes them frustrated (whaaainnh!) To gimps like me the spots are always FULL with people that can walk and are very far from needing a wheelchair. They start limping extra heavy when I cruise by from the other end of the parking lot where I had to park against a curb or wall where no-one can block me in. -- OK, enjoy your evening everyone...this made mine. Re: [QUAD-L] Don't Park In The Handicap Spot
Whenever that happens to me, I act a little retarded and keep crashing into their car trying to get to my van. 'Oh my gosh! Did my chair cause all those scratches and dents to your car? I'm so sorry. I was just trying to get in my van'. Re: [QUAD-L] Don't Park In The Handicap Spot
It is actually easier for me to park my boyfriends van at the lower end of the parking lot. he is on a vent and it gives us a little more privacy to suction or empty caths if needed. Plus I park sideways in 2 spots so that we are not blocked in. Looks like I cant drive but no one can get near the door that way to block it. My daughter is not paralyzed but is in a wheel chair at times if we have to go shopping. She can walk short distances and we do sometimes park in the handicapped spots so she can walk in. Then we grab a chair at the door. To anyone else..she would look normal. But walking across the parking lot is a journey for her. So things are not always as they seem. I do agree that some people park in the handicapped spots when they shouldn't. But some of those folks have heart conditions and things that just may not be visble to all of us. [QUAD-L] parking in the hashed lines
Hi all, The hashed lines are not to be parked in by handicap, jesus, or president bush. Cops have been fired for parking in them. I get blocked in by other handicap persons or able bodies parking over the line. There is no excuse for this and id like to throw a brick through anyones window parking in the hash lined area. Maybe if they buy a few windows they wont do it anymore, lol. ron c7
