Re: [QUAD-L] SP Discomfort

2008-08-13 Thread David K. Kelmer
Neuropathic pain is a complex, chronic pain state that usually is accompanied
by tissue injury. With neuropathic pain, the nerve fibers themselves may be
damaged, dysfunctional or injured. These damaged nerve fibers send incorrect
signals to other pain centers. The impact of nerve fiber injury includes a
change in nerve function both at the site of injury and areas around the injury.

2008-08-13 Thread John S.
I'm in Ohio where a guy named chabot is my congressman. He would vote to
eliminate life support for his mother with a toothache. My senators and
governor do believe in improving the health care system. If you ranked
politicians by seating them from left to right, chabot would be just to the
right of Hitler. The only reason we get Medicaid funds here is because he will
take any money Uncle Sam will give him. when he was first elected, I had a
picture of a big dog eating what hit the floor, but with time, my mental image
of him is more of a vulture preying on the weak. It totally creeps me out to
hear him discuss gutting all those leftist 60's medical policies.

Does your state has a cosponsor? If not, please write them.
One more
signed on before the August Recess:

Rep Weiner, Anthony D. [NY-9] -

How are your August Recess visits for the Community Choice Act
coming along?
They are home for the whole month to work with constituents
(that means
you!) If you can't get an appointment to meet with your
Senators and/or
Representative make sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled
for Town
Meetings, Public Forums, etc. they may be holding. Not sure
if your folks
are on board yet? Well check out the list
below.

States with NO Co-sponsors so far include:
Arkansas, Idaho,
Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire,
New Mexico, North
Dakota, Oregon, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and

Re: [QUAD-L] Attendant duty list

2008-08-13 Thread Dan
I haven't but it's definitely a good idea. I'm always so grateful to get help
that I sugar coat a lot of the job duties such as cooking, vacuuming, floor
washing and wiping counters and table tops for fear that the person won't take
the job. But then it becomes awkward to bring these things up. I always hope
that they will take it upon themselves to do these things but it never happens
so from now on I'll have a list of things that have to be done and how often.
Thanks for the reminder LQ!

Hiya Amye!

As an employer, you have to have and established list or book of
requirements and duties.
Its business like and survival. How you follow those written requirement
are up to you.
If you don't have your rules and requirements, those that work for you will
establish their own and you may not like them.
Be a tough and firm employer, but be fair. Otherwise.

Best Wishes
