Hi Dana,

I am on FB (Theo Kyparissis) and I sent you a friend request.

Unfortunately I haven't got photos of the beauty of Greece on my FB page (I
don't do a lot of traveling) but if you do a search on Google or FB for
photos of Greece and its islands you will literally find thousands of
photos.

Cheers

Hi Meredith,

Life is getting more difficult for most people living in Greece including
Quads. We used to get an allowance for an electric wheelchair, for a very
basic wheelchair with no extras like tilting and that has now been cut in
half and is expected to be cut even more. We receive no aid to buy an
accessible van or for caregivers we have to pay for them out of our own
pockets. Of course living in Athens presents its own challenges as most
areas are not very accessible including almost all apartment buildings over
15 years old. Although I have to admit that there have been a lot of
improvements made especially since the 2004 Olympic Games.

Cheers

I agree with bobbie. My hands are closed with thumbs out and on my left hand

twist my wrist up. With hands closed I can drive, write, ps2 with handles, rc
cars, fish, hold stuff, plus lots more. If your thinking about a cure for later
don't worry they will make your hands open again. I personally never think
about a cure and could careless at this point.

I have been using it for several years without any negative side-effects I
take 1 teaspoon in the morning and night. When I first started taking it I
went for 19 months without a single infection I now get about 3 to 4
infections a year. Oh yes I almost forgot to mention that I use an
indwelling catheter and before I began taking CS I suffered from multiple
infections including Pseudomonas.

I make the CS myself I have a very basic generator which hasn't given e any

Hey...

For those of you who post regularly (as well as those who do not or just
lurk) I was wondering if you all could tell the rest of us how long you have
been on this list?

I found it in the latter part of 1995 and never unsubscribed except for six
months when we were living in temporary quarters at one time around 2000 so
it has been 12 1/2 years for me or so. During the last 12 1/2 years I have
told at least four people about this list because they had not heard of it.
They know who they are. :-)

Anyway, it would be refreshing to see how long y'll all have been on the
list.

Happy new year to you all!

dirt nap? That it doesnt matter what you did or didnt do in life we all end
up the same. That thousands of years ago some smart individual realized that
human beings have to believe in something to go on, and if they think some
higher power is watching over them they might live a better life. And
religion makes it easy to control the masses. Has anyone ever also realized
that the high iq people such as doctors, scientists, and many others mostly
dont believe in god. The lower the iq the greater the belief in god. LoL
