Re: [QUAD-L] what causes a syrinx
Hi Amy, Diagnosis and Treatment Doctors may suspect a syrinx in a young child or teenager on the basis of symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with a paramagnetic contrast agent, such as gadolinium, can outline the syrinx (and a tumor if present). http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec06/ch093/ch093f.html#sec06-ch093-ch093f-1290 With Love, CtrlAltDel aka Dave C4/5 Complete - 31 Years Post Texas, USA Amy Davis [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: What kind of test can they do to determine if you have a syrinx? Re: [QUAD-L] what causes a syrinx
Thank you for the information. When I was given an MRI and then I had at least three or four more until they decide it with scar tissue by a neurologist. I went to several different neurologist in Kansas City.. I went Syrinxmylia workshop for only one day that was in Kansas City although they were dealing with other kinds of syrinxes that you did not have to be a quadriplegic to get. I remember meeting a walking quadriplegic that was now a high quad because of his. Dana ** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
