Re: [qubes-users] g505s BIOS settings for installing 4.0.1
cyber.citi...@tutanota.com: Hello everyone, I'd like to install Qubes 4.0.1 on a g505s, but the installation routine is telling me that IOMMU/Vt-d/AMD-Vi, and Interrupt Remapping are not available. I've tried every possible combination of BIOS settings I can imagine (such as enabling SVM support and toggling between Legacy boot and UEFI boot), but nothing is working. I've seen a lot of posts on this discussion forum saying that the g505s is compatable with Qubes 4.0, so I'm confused. Might someone toss me a clue? Thank you. So the packages in testing are as trustable as any other package produced by Qubes. Authorised users can trigger movement to stable "when it's ready". In case of debian minimal I'll watch out for comments, but as I've been using it myself for some time with no issues it will probably appear in stable pretty soon. unman -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] icon stacks in kde?
playing with kde. the one feature i miss from xfce is making stacks of icon. by that i mean a separate panel on the bottom, kinda like os x, where you put a launcher and add multiple apps to it so you get a little arrow menu for all the extras. with kde, the closest thing i can find is pinning an app to the panel, but you cant group them arbitrarily like that. is there a way to get the same effect in kde? funny thing about qubes is you end up with far more "favorites" than i think the kde devs anticipated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
