[qubes-users] Qubes and Mega Cloud App using
Hello guys, Since the Windows 7 HVM machine unfortunately does not recognize any external drives, I was forced to upload my documents to the Mega Cloud. Unfortunately, I always get a script error when downloading files, or that the Firefox capacities are insufficient. I have already increased the execution of the script in Firefox and have reset the default settings of the browser back to the default settings. How can I download the Mega Cloud App under Qubes? Has anyone else a tip on how I can easily download larger files> 2GB with Firefox? [qubes-users] Graphicard installaton for my Windows7 HVM
Hello my dears, My Qubes Windows7 HVM runs without any problems so far. Since I would like to install some programs under Windows7 64Bit Pro, which required a good graphics performance, i have a question about it. My graphics card is the "AMD Radeon R7 m360". I would like to install these on my Windows7 Pro HVM. I think I have to install this first on Qubes, so that the VM's can fall back on it. Does anyone know a tutorial for it? Hey, i want copy a file from Sys-net to my Windows-VM first step: when i click Ctrl+c in the source VM (Sys:net)nothing happend(cant see anything). When i clicked in the main folder and copy the file(Ctrl+Shift+c) i become a successfully message. 2 Step: Now i type the command "Ctrl+Shift+v and change to my WindowsVM and try copy the file with following command Ctrl+v. I only copy some windows files but not the fie which lay on the sys-net Stick. I tried everything but nothing want work. Hey, i wrote the command promp correct in the guid.conf but wrong here sorry. VM Xy: } secure_copy_sequence ="Ctrl+Shift+c; secure_paste_sequence ="Ctrl+Shift+v; }; Workspace1: If i copy the file i see a qubes Windows which show me how many byte i copy t the clipboard. After this command i change to Workspace 2 where i want paste it. But nothing happened. On Workspace 2 Windows run and i try to paste the file on the Desktop,there. [qubes-users] Copy & Paste into anouther Domains
Hey guys,
i tried to copy files from my USB-Stick (sys:net) to my new created Windows7
HVM Domain.
First i made some settings in the /etc/qubes/guid.conf settings and set in the
part VM following commands.
VM XY: {
secure_paste_sequence = "Crtl-Shift-v"
secure_paste_sequence = "Crtl-Shift-c"
};
On the Qubes main site i found the tutorial how to copy and paste files to
anouther VM(Domain)
Domain 1 XY is on Workspace 2
Sys-net(USB-Stick) is on Workspace 1
Now i go into Workspace 1 and copy the file with Ctrl+Shift+c
After this i go to Workspace 1 and want copy this file on the WindowsHVM with
Crtl+Shift+v but nothing happened.
What iam doing wrong?

Hey, before i had the semless mode installed and now i can make the Window into fullscreen. :) I try now to make the screen big like the original Qubes window ( That the screen have the origina size like the Domain:work ) The configs on my HVM/VM Windows7 is set to 1440*900. When i set up the Display higher i not see the Windows button (Where i can make the settings, shut down...) What can i do to solve the probleme? Changes to VGA? [qubes-users] Qubes 4.0+Electrum Wallet
Hey Community users, iam a new Qubes User and i tried to install the Bitcoin Electrum Wallet. The Wallet i installed on the Vm Domain Work sucessfully. In the Qubes settings I also installed the software bundle. The wallet would be marked as installed there. Unfortunately, when I click on the button Launch, Electrum does not open. [qubes-users] How to install Windows and use programms
Hello Qubes buddys, :) my Qubes works perfectly and i want say thx to all users they help me. Now i want to install Windows on my Qubes 4.0. Many user before says that Linux(Qubes) works better with Windows 7 than Windows 10. I know that the Update support on Windows 7 is no longer available? Is it an security risk to install Windows 10? Which is the best config? Microsoft is the best spy OS i know. ;) Many software is only supported by Windows and i want learn new things. I became some software which isnt original bought and i must know is it a risk to install them on Windows? Iam afraid that i risk my security. Is there an alternative to Linux Wine? Before i used Windows10 with Virtualbox and want install on this Debian for learning. How can i realize this on Qubes, because Virtualbox is an Vm, too? And its not possible to install this on Qubes. The Stick seen as Efi, but again the same probleme that i can see shortly some Linux promps and after a black screen. Hey Campbell, i have trouble that Qubes boot from my USB Stick. The installing steps i following and burn the image with Rufus in the dd mode on my Intenso 32GB Stick. The boot starts shortly and some commands i see. Than nothing happend. Can you say me maybe why Qubes not run? Hello people, First of all thanks for your help. So, I have the image as on the Qubes side provided in dd fashion sizzling on the stick. My bios settings: - https://picload.org/view/dogoirwi/img_20180418_163510.jpg.html - https://picload.org/view/dogoirww/img_20180418_163513.jpg.html - https://picload.org/view/dogoidgr/img_20180418_163527.jpg.html I did not have the stick in the USB port when i done the shot of the bios. But it is recognized as Efi. The stick boots well, but you only see short chains of command and then the monitor stays black and nothing happens anymore. As I was advised, I pressed the key combination Ctrl + Alt + F1, to no avail. I also had Unetbootin in use. Since Qubes is based on Fedora, I have also promoted the Iso as such on the stick. Hope it was the correct way. : ???: Can it be due to the bios settings? Somehow it seems to me that some process prevents the boats? I would be very grateful to you for your help. Hello community, i verify the Iso file from the Qubes main site successfully. Now i following the installation guide to Install the Iso image with rufus on my USB Stick. I use Windows10 at time. I've followed all the steps, but the operating system just will not start. I see some Linux commands but then I only find a black screen. What iam doing wrong? About your help i would be very happy. I type the commands gpg2 --import qubes-master-signing-key.asc. After this i become the error message "No such file or directory". I memory all files into the download folder. Its important for me to work with the Dos, because i want learn it on the hard way :D On the Qubes main site i try too, to write the commands on the main site into the windows command promp.But both not work well.Mh, what iam doing wrong? @ Neelix Before i use the checksum tool for Windows, but i forget the name of the tool. [qubes-users] How to verify Qubes
Hello community, first i want say, that iam a new member of this google-group and i want greet all. :) Iam a newbie of Qubes(Linux) and i use Windows 10 at time. Today I downloaded the current ISO image from the main page. Since I'm not so good with Linux in general, I turn to you. I downloaded the Qubes master signing key and try to verify it. Since I use Windows 10, I have also downloaded the program GPGEX. I open the program Cleopatra and click on the field "import". The tool gives me the hint that the certificate must first be authenticated and I have to create my own PGP certificate to verify others. After the mentioned configuration I get a key. Is this the Qubes key? How can I tell that this is the right key? For example, when I click the Decrypt / Verify tab in Kleopatra, I get the error message that the key contains certificates and can not be decrypted. When I enter the commands from the Qubes page into the Windows command prompt, I get the error message no such file... What am I doing wrong? I hope my question is not ridiculous and someone can help me. Previously, I never dealt with PGP and the like. I would be very happy about many answers.
